(y/n) POV

The one on one fights had began and up when Yang shot Mercury in the leg I knew something was up. "D..daddy why did Auntie Yang do that?" Sky said pulling on my shirt, she had tears in her eyes, "I.. I don't know sweetie, lets go home it's almost your bed time." I said as I opened a void to my dorm room, which was right next to Blake's, "daddy wheres mama? Mama always says goodnight to me no matter what." she said, "well a lot happened tonight and mama needs to be with her team right now. Please try to get some sleep and mama will be here in the morning like always.

Time skip to the next night

Sky had a fit because Blake didn't say goodnight to her, Sky had honestly thought that Blake didn't love her anymore and cried for almost an hour. Thankfully Yang was able to calm her down and explain why Blake wasn't there to say goodnight to her. Tonight is the next one on one fight and I agreed to go with Ruby, and to make sure their wasn't a repeat of this morning I said goodnight to Sky before I left, the fight was between Pyrrha and some girl named Penny I knew something was up not only because the fights were being chosen by mom and her team, but because Ruby went off somewhere and hasn't come back yet or texted me. Then it happened Pyrrha killed Penny and I realized it was far to late to get Sky out now. I opened a Void back to my room and grabbed Sky. "D..daddy?" she said in a daze , "it's ok sweetie your going to my Uncle Tai's house for awhile." I said opening a void to Uncle Tai's house.

"(y/n) whats going on?" Uncle Tai asked, "no time to explain please watch my baby girl until I come back." I said handing Sky over to him, "ok, but you're explaining everything to me when you get back here" he said, I nodded and went through the void back to the stadium. I ran to the center of the stadium to help fight a Nevermore that had broken through the defenses. 

Sky POV  

I wanted to help daddy so I followed him, but when I saw what was happening I wished I hadn't. I saw grimm and White Fang solders attacking people. "DADDY!" I yelled, but I was alone. Then someone grabbed my arm, "SKY LETS GO!" a man yelled then I realized it was Grandpa Qrow, "Grandpa I'm scared. I want mama and daddy!" I cried as he picked me up, "I know but for now I have to get you to safety. Then I'll find your parents and bring them to you." he said as he ran killing any grimm he saw.

(y/n) POV

I had to find Blake, I had to save her. My search was cut short when I saw a dragon flying towards Beacon Tower, I resumed my search and finally I found Blake. She was on the ground and was shooting at some guy with red hair and a grimm mask. I saw Yang there too, but then the guy stabbed Blake, Yang launched herself at him and he cut her arm off. Blake ran away with Yang, I felt strange all of my rage and hate boiled in my body, I drew Negistigma from it's void I rushed at him. He blocked the attack, but at the cost of his blade, Negistigma went through it and hit him sending him flying into a wall breaking his mask and causing him to throw up some blood. "YOU BASTARD I'M GOING TO KILL YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID TO BLAKE AND YANG!" I shouted, but I was cut short of ending his life by the top of Beacon Tower exploding. When I turned back to hill Blake's stabber he was gone so I opened a Void to the top of the tower.

I had gotten there just in time to stop Pyrrha form being killed by mom. "PYRRHA GO I'VE GOT THIS!" I yelled, Pyrrha did as she was told and ran off. "Mom this has gone too far! Blake got stabbed by some psycho and who knows how may people are being killed by the grimm!" I shouted and as I did the dragon bit at me, I hit it away with the side of Negistigma. "I'll deal with you after I deal with this thing!" I said, I activated Negistigma's scythe mode but when the shift was complete the blade shattered and the spear tip did the same. Suddenly an enormous ax blade manifested, it's appearance was constantly shifting almost as if it's existence was a paradox. It was as if it was both physical and ethereal at the same time and it just being here was contradicting all laws of nature. I slashed at the dragon and the blade went straight through as if the blade didn't even exist. I tried again and again it did nothing. I activated my silver eyes and the silver wings wrapped themselves around the blade and this time when I attacked the dragon it turned to, but didn't disappear that was good enough for now. I turned back to confront mom, but when I did she was gone. The ax blade disappeared and the regular scythe blade reformed as well as the spear tip. I could feel that I had no energy left and I passed out.

Sky POV

Grandpa had brought me to the docks. I saw mama running to the docks carrying Auntie Yang. I ran to them and saw that Auntie Yang had lost her right arm, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." mama said, "m..mama." I said, "mama whats going on? Why are all these people crying? What happened to Auntie Yang's arm?" I asked, but mama just got up and hugged me. I was confused, but before she let go she whispered "I love you sweetie. Go find daddy." and then she left. She left me there alone and afraid. I began to cry and then a man with a monkey tail picked me up, "Hey whats wrong? Do you need help finding your mom?" he asked I shook my head and pointed at mama. "Wait Blake is your mom?! Well then I'm Sun, Sun Wukong and I'm going to make sure that you're with your mom!" he said as he wiped my tears away.

Qrow POV 

I went to the top of the tower expecting to find Ruby after seeing the silver eyes activate, but to my surprise I found Pyrrha and (y/n). Pyrrha was holding (y/n)'s head in her lap trying to wake him up. "What happened here?" I said, but when I saw the grimm dragon it became clear as to what happened. I picked (y/n) up and carried him down to the bottom of the tower.

Time skip three days later (y/n) POV

When I woke up I saw my father and uncle arguing. "HOW COULD YOU LET A LITTLE GIRL JUST GO LIKE THAT?!" "I'm sorry It was an accident she changed into a cat and ran through the void and then it closed before I could follow her." Uncle Tai said, "w..wheres Sky?" I asked weakly, "well um she's um" Uncle Tai said, "We have no idea where she is, apparently after you left she followed you through the void. I found her and took her to the docks and had Winter guard her, but somehow she wondered off and now she is missing." dad said, "no, no your lying to me. She's probably just hiding around here. Sky sweetie this isn't funny, please come out sweet heart!" I called, "(Y/N) she's gone!" dad said, "HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN?! HOW COULD I HAVE BEEN SO CARELESS! If she's dead it will be all my fault." I said as I began to cry. "Hey bud look I know how you feel I went through the same thing when I lost you, but you know what you can't give up you have to be strong like your mother." he said as he pulled out the only picture he had of all of team STQR and pointed at Summer. "She never once gave up on you even when it was almost certain you were dead, she still searched for you." he said and handed me the picture.

Eventually Dad explained to me what happened and that Ruby was my half sister.

Time skip a week later

I left on a journey to Mistral. They wanted to find the person who caused the Fall of Beacon, but I wanted to find mom to save her.

Blake POV 

My heart was broken, I abandoned my daughter when she needed me the most. But all I could do was run. So now I find myself on a boat to Menagerie, back to my home, without the two people I loved the most. I was about to cry when I felt like someone was watching me I turned, "WHO'S THERE?!" I yelled but found no one.

Time skip hours later

A huge grimm Xaio Long had appeared from the ocean I was about to fight it on my own when a man in a cloak used me as a spring board. When his cloak fell off it revealed that the man was Sun. He and I fought the grimm together and after it was dead I slapped him as heard as I could.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" I yelled, "well I saw you running from the docks and I knew exactly what you were doing. Your leading a one woman fight against the White Fang, and while that's honorable and everything I couldn't you do it alone." he said, "So you followed me?! And how do I know that your not hiding Neptune, Scarlet, and Sage somewhere below deck?!" I yelled, "do you really think I could get Neptune on a boat? Their on there way back to Mistral, besides it's not the first time I've ditched them to go on a boat, and besides I'm not just here for you I'm here keeping a promise." he said, I gave him a confused look, "what do you mean a promise?" I asked, Sun whistled and motioned to a small child in a cloak similar to his to come over. "MAMA!" the child yelled as she ran at me and as she ran her cloak fell off her relieving her to be my darling daughter Sky. She jumped and hugged me tightly as if when she let go I would leave her once more. "Mama."she cried over and over as she hugged me. "H..how Sun did you bring her here?!" I asked he nodded, "I found her alone that night, she was crying. I was going to help her find her mom but when she pointed at you when I asked her about her mom I just brought her along with me." he said, "Also where are we going?" "to Menagerie" I said,  "well I'm coming with you I've never been to Menagerie before it'll be a regular journey to the East! And besides were kinda already on the boat." he said, Sky laughed at this. I picked up my baby girl and held her close. "I'm so sorry sweetie I should have staid. I should have been their for you, you needed me and I just abandoned you. Please forgive me sweet heart." I said, "mama I already forgave you and besides your here now and that's what matters." she said, I kissed her forehead and began to softly cry.

Time skip to Menagerie Sky POV

I was happy to be with mama again, but I missed daddy. Sometimes I felt like Mr. Sun was trying to flirt with mama and sometimes it looked like mama liked his flirting. We were walking for awhile, I tugged on mama's jacket, "yes sweetie whats wrong?" mama said bending down to my height, "mama is Mr. Sun going to be my new daddy? I don't want a new daddy I want my daddy." I said, mama looked shocked, "sweet heart who told you Sun was going to be your new daddy?" mama said, "no one, but you looked really happy when I saw him flirting with you." I said, "sweetie I love your father very much, but I was happy to have one of my friends there with me, now lets get going their's some people I want you to meet." mama said, Mr. Sun picked me up and carried me on his solders, "you know Sky I would make a great dad!" he said, "don't get any ideas mama loves daddy." I said puffing my cheeks, "I know, I know." he said.

When we finally stopped walking we stood in front of a large pair of doors. Mama held me and grasped the knocker and knocked on the door with it making a loud noise inside the house, "Coming!" I heard a voice say from inside. "Who is i-... Blake?!" a woman who looked a bit like mama said as she opened the door. "Hi mom." mama said nervously. "Kali who is it?" a man said, "Blake!" he said and then the two of them hugged mama.

"And who is this adorable little girl?" Kali said, "this is my daughter Sky, and no Sun is not her father. I'm engaged to her father, but I don't even know if he's alive or not." mama said, "oh sweet heart I'm so sorry, and as for you Sky you can call us Grandma and Grandpa, ok sweetie." Grandma Kali said, I nodded.

A few hours passed and Grandma and I were playing when there was a knock at the door, "oh I didn't realize that they would come so early." Grandma Kali said, "Grandma who's they?" I asked, "why the White Fang of coarse sweetie." Grandma said, fear rose from within me. As Grandma walked to the door I grabbed her leg and began to cry, "Sky sweetie what's the matter, why are you crying?" Grandma asked, "DON'T LET THE BAD MEN IN GRANDMA THEY ARE GOING TO HURT ME!" I cried, Grandma hugged me and said she wouldn't let them hurt me. When she opened the door the two men standing there look nothing like the ones that were in vale. Grandpa Ghira joined them at the door and began to talk to them about something, but I was too far away to hear them. Then mama and Mr. Sun showed up and started yelling. I got scared and ran and hid.

After things had calmed down mama came and found me, "sweetie whats wrong why are you hiding?" mama asked, "I didn't want the bad men to find me mama." I said, mama picked me up and kissed me and told me everything would be alright.

Blake POV

I felt like the worst mother ever, how could I let my four year old daughter get PTSD! It's my job to shield her from things like this and I had failed.

Suddenly I heard a soft snoring. I looked at Sky who had fallen asleep in my arms. I took her to my old room and put her to bed. I went and had tea with my father and after that I chased down my old friend Ilia who was spying on us, and she ended up shooting Sun.

(y/n) POV

We finally made it to Mistral. Turns out dad was following us. Jaune and Pyrrha had started dating, when I heard this my first thought was 'FINALLY!!!', during our time at Beacon I had always said that they would make a cute couple, but they had never gotten together. I have been writing letters to Blake but never actually sent them since I had no idea where she was, but I had faith that I would see her again.

I constantly thought about Blake and Sky as we walked to to the headmaster's office of Haven Academy. Everyone had their weapons at the ready except for me. And when everyone screamed and fell down I was the only one still standing, mostly because I wasn't paying attention and was too busy thinking about my family.

Dad and Leo talked for awhile and then dad went out drinking. When he came back to the hotel room he was more drunk than usual and he had a kid named Oscar with him. He was saying something about how he did it and laughing a lot and then he fell on the floor and laughed even more.

"Oscar did he bring you here against your will? If he did you can tell me and I'll get you home safe and sound." I said receiving a confused look from the boy. "I know. I know. I said I know now leave me alone!" he said to himself earning strange looks from the rest of us.

Time skip to the next day

Dad had finally recovered from his hangover and began to fill us in on who Oscar was and why he was here. None of it made sense to me. "Mr. Fall I can tell that you have your doubts about this but rest assured that I truly am Ozpin." he said, "I find all of this very hard to believe, but if you can prove you truly are Ozpin by telling us that only Ozpin and I would know then I'll believe you." I said, "very well, you lived with your Aunt Raven for three years before you returned home to discover your mother was dead and your father a drunken mess. The story that you were told by your Uncle Tai was true to a degree, however it was not the entire story. After living on the streets of Vale for three months you were adopted by a kind woman. The next day you attacked your father with the switch blade given to you by your aunt. A little more than a year later you were arrested by your step mother for robbing a dust shop and four weeks later you enrolled into Signal Academy as a second year student. Two days later you moved back in with your adoptive mother and lived with her until you enrolled at Beacon after a four year training hiatus. Is that enough proof or would you like more? I could tell all about you and Miss Belladonna's relationship." he said with a smirk. "No, no that's enough." I said, the pain in my eyes was clear for all to see. Just the mention of Blake or Sky was painful. I excused myself from the group and went to my room.

I pulled out the only picture I had of Blake, Sky, and I and began to cry. "(y/n) I know it's been hard for you loosing your family like you did, but crying over that picture won't bring them back to you. I mean just look at me for the past sixteen years I thought that Yang was my only sibling, but as of a few weeks ago I had a big brother and I'm so happy to have you in my life, but I hate seeing you like this so either cheer up or go home and look for Sky some more." Ruby said as she took the picture from my hand, " I'll give you this one though, this is a nice picture." she said handing me my picture back. She left the room and left me to my thoughts. Maybe I should go look for Sky. But on the off chance that mom took her when she made her escape I had to take that chance.

I went out to the balcony and saw dad with Yang and Weiss. I ran and hugged them. I was happy that they were ok and that Yang had gotten a new arm. "Do either of you have any idea where Blake went?" I asked, Yang looked angry, "she ran away. After everything was said and done she just ran away!" Yang's lilac eyes welled up with tears. "Yang I think I know what your answer is going to be but I have to ask. Do you have any idea what happened to Sky?" I asked, Yang and Weiss looked at me in shock and disbelief, "w...what do you mean she's with you isn't she?!" Weiss said as tears formed in her eyes. I shook my head and the tears Weiss was holding back began to flow from her.

Eventually after everything calmed down a bit we all sat down for dinner and caught up. "Well I cant say I can fully control it but I can use the advanced modes to an extent now but I have yet to summon that axe again." I said as I demonstrated my new ability by changing Negistigma into its new spear from.

Yang and Nora had and arm wrestling match, I think Yang won but I'm not sure. 

We were going to go back to Haven for a meeting with Leo about some huntsmen he had gathered up for a raid on Aunt Ravens tribe. Despite my saying I could get the maiden and be back on my own dad wouldn't let me go. I let it go and decided this would be for the best, but why did something feel off?

Sky POV

We had been in Menagerie for a few weeks now, but now a lot of people were going to go to Mistral with us. I liked it in Menagerie it was nice and peaceful. I liked playing with Grandma Kali. I liked spending time with mama, but I was happy to go because there was a chance that daddy could be there.

Blake POV  

I picked up Sky and boarded the bullhead. It would be several hours before we got to Haven Academy. I had lied to Sky and told her that (y/n) would be there, I also neglected to tell her that the White Fang will be there as well.

A few hours into the flight Sky had fallen asleep on my lap. It brought up the memory of when we took our first trip as a family to (y/n)'s family summer home in Argus. 

Flashback 

"I just don't see why we need a car or your motorcycle when we have your semblance." I said as we drove down the street to the house. "Because what if Sky needs to go somewhere and I'm not around,  or if you need to take her to the hospital or somewhere and I'm not around. And as for my bike, well that's just because it was my dad's and mama Winter gave it to me as a gift so it has sentimental value to it. And I could do this to you too babe." (y/n) said as he drove, "oh ya prove it." I challenged him, "Ninjas of Love." he said, blush erupted all over my face, "h..how did you?! You couldn't have! Who told you?!", "Blake, Blake, Blake, the answer is simple I found it about a month after we moved into the house when it fell from its hiding spot in the closet and hit me on the head , Sky thought that was hilarious and I decided to take a peek at what you were hiding. That is filth FILTH!" he said and my blush intensified. 

Hours later I was watching a movie with (y/n) and Sky when I heard gentle snores. I looked down and found Sky asleep in my lap. my heart began to beat rapidly. This was the first time my baby has done this and I wished it would never end. I carried my two year old daughter to her bed and set up a child guard on the side of her bed so she wouldn't fall of onto the hardwood floor. "Good night my angle I love you." I whispered to her before I kissed her forehead and returned to the movie.

End Flashback 

We had arrived at Haven Academy and I could see fighting going on inside. Everyone jumped off the bullheads and began to defend Haven Academy all except for mom who was watching Sky. Then the doors exploded and a huge man with electric and flame dust crystals stabbed into his arms rose from the rubble when a Queen Lancer stinger impaled his chest. Then I saw (y/n). he looked at me with disbelief. then he rushed at me.

(y/n) POV

"BLAKE GET DOWN!" I yelled as I switched Negistigma to its scythe mode, or so I thought, but just like at the tower the blade shattered and an enormous axe blade manifested this time it was more solid. "THIS IS FOR ALL THE PEOPLE YOU KILLED!" I yelled cutting the red haired mans sword in half, "THIS IS FOR ALL THE PEOPLE YOU HAVE HURT!" I yelled cutting off his left hand, "THIS IS FOR YANG!" I yelled as I cut off his right arm, "AND THIS IS FOR BLAKE AND FOR MY FAMILY!" I yelled as I decapitated him. The axe blade disappeared and the scythe reformed. "Blake, I..I'm sorry he was going to kill you and if he found out about Sky-" I said but was cut off by a kiss from Blake, "I'm so happy your ok. And its ok I'm actually glad it was you who killed Adam I don't think anyone else but you could kill him and you didn't kill him for yourself you did it for everyone he's harmed in some way, and to protect out baby." she said as we kissed again.

After everything was over Blake had been reunited with her team and with me, but still Sky wasn't here. "MAMA! DADDY!" I heard I turned around and saw Lucinda holding Sky against her will. "Lucinda what are you doing let her go NOW!" I demanded, "(y/n) dear don't you see what I'm doing?" she said, "I'm going to free you. Free you from Blake. Your not supposed to be with her don't you see you and I were meant to be together!" she said with a strange look in her eye, "Lucinda what are you talking about?!", "oh my dear sweet (y/n), I convinced myself that I could come to accept you and Blake being together, but now mother has opened my eyes to the truth and its clear to me that you belong with me and I won't let anyone or anything get in my way!" she said as she pulled out a gun and shot at Blake. She used her shadow clones to dodge the bullets and Sky transformed into a kitten and ran over to me. "Daddy I'm scared make Auntie Lucinda stop daddy. Please make her stop." she cried, when Lucinda saw this she screamed and phased into her shadow and ran away.

A/N: I hope you liked this chapter I'm going to divert from the series from now on and do my own thing. I had some trouble writing this chapter because of the death of Stan Lee. I'm a huge Marvel fan so it hit me pretty hard to hear that he died so this chapter is a tribute to him.

Rest in peace Stan Lee you will be missed.
