Summer Falls
AN: Thank so much to every one who has read my story. I was so shocked to find that in just over 24 hours that my story had over ninety views. It makes me happy to think that people are enjoying my story, but in this part I would like to see if anyone can guess what will happen to (y/n) next. If anyone gets it right or is close then I will message them and congratulate them. I also want to know what you guys think of the story so far so please comment.
Now without further adieu lets get this thing started!
________________________________________________________________________________
(y/n) POV
Aunt Raven's training was tough, but I knew she wouldn't let me give up and run away or hide. So I persevered no matter how many cuts or bruises I sustained.
"(y/n) how is the training going?" Aunt Raven said as Vrenal stepped aside. "Good, but I don't feel like I'm getting any better" I said as Aunt Raven tossed me my wooden training sword that she had given to me for my birthday last year. "What's this for Aun-"I started to say, but I was cut short of finishing my sentence by blocking a down ward strike from my aunts training blade.
She unleashed slash after slash at me, but I blocked most and dodged the rest. She then charged at me and unleashed a brutal spin attack from above, I quickly blocked and parried her attack by slashing at her side.
This was the most intense fight Aunt Raven and I have ever had. I could feel my eyes begin to burn Aunt Raven had told me to never use my crimson eyes on anyone from the tribe after what happened last time.
Flashback when (y/n) first arrived at the Branwen tribe
Aunt Raven had told me that I had a rare ability called "silver eyes" but mine had evolved some how and created the "crimson eyes", and from what she described to me "silver eyes" were strong, but my "crimson eyes" were stronger. She told me that when I had used them I killed twelve of her strongest men, and it took her, Vernal, and a third person she wouldn't tell me about to stop me from killing anyone else.
Aunt Raven told me that she wasn't mad at me for killing her men, just the opposite really she was proud of me, a two year old who had ended the lives of twelve highly trained elites with nothing but my bare hands. This time I didn't freeze up like the last time, but I was shocked, shocked that my aunt was proud of me, shocked by my own natural abilities, but most importantly I was shocked that it took the three strongest people in the entire tribe to stop me and even then they didn't make it out without a scratch.
End of flashback
I bit my lip to stop myself from using my crimson eyes. Aunt Raven lunged at me and just before her blade could hit me I redirected it over to my left side and then I used the opening to strike. I unleashed a devastating blow hitting her in the back before she regained her composure.
"Very good, do you think you could have done that when you first started training with me?" she asked in a calm yet condescending tone. "No I guess I have gotten a bit better, but I haven't gotten any stronger." I said as Aunt Raven placed her hand on my head and began to mess up my hair. "Why don't you take the rest of the day off from training just this once considering you did hold your own against me." she said, I smiled at her and nodded in agreement.
As I walked to Aunt Ravens tent I recalled all the times that I had walked down this path bloodied and bruised. Some of the events of the past three years were a bit fuzzy and hard to remember, but I could never forget all the times Aunt Raven had tended to my wounds form that days training when I got home.
As I entered Aunt Ravens tent I saw a small box set out on the table with a note attached. I picked up the note and read it.
"(y/n) tomorrow you will be going out hunting with me so I got you a temporary weapon. its nothing too elaborate, but I feel in your hands if will be capable of much more than anyone could imagine. Aunt Raven"
I opened the box and found a switch blade inside. I released the blade and found it has a serrated back edge and the entirety of the blade was a deep black and the handle was the same except for Aunt Ravens symbol which was white.
I closed the blade and put it into my pocket. Aunt Raven had given me a new outfit which closely resembled my fathers except the red on his cape was replaced with black on mine. I looked back at the box and saw a small necklace in it. I picked it up and saw it had both the symbol of my father as well as Aunt Ravens.
I missed my mother and father more than I let on, but I knew Aunt Raven could tell how much I missed them. As I felt tears begin to form in my eyes I heard a strange noise from be. I turned around and saw black sparks that looked a lot like small bolts of lightning, form in mid air then the sparks intensified and formed small bolts of black lightning and in the middle of this a small swirling void formed. The void swirled more and more and as it did it grew larger in size until it was almost as tall as Aunt Raven.
I wasn't afraid of the large void it felt familiar and almost comforting in a strange way. I walked towards the void and entered into it.
Almost as quickly as I entered I had exited it in a completely different place. It took me a bit to regain my scenes, but when I did I realized where I was. I was home, my real home not some bandit camp in the middle of nowhere, I was back to my mother and fathers house.
Without thinking I ran through the door of the house. "MOM! DAD! I'M HOME!" I exclaimed, but I was met with science, "mom? Dad? W..where are you?" I asked as tears began to form in my eyes once more.
"WHO'S THERE?!" I heard a man say from behind me, I didn't recognize the voice. I suddenly felt a hard metal object being placed behind my head, i realized it was a gun. "put your hands up and turn around slowly." he said and I did as I was told. I put my hands up and slowly turned around to look the gunman in the eyes, but when he saw me he lowered his gun.
"(y..y/n)?" he said in a shocked and shaky tone. "Uncle Tai?" I said realizing who he was, "What are you doing here? Wheres mom and dad?" I asked, there were a million and one thoughts going through my head but Uncle Tai pulled me into a tight hug preventing me from speaking any further.
"(y/n) your mother was so worried about you." he said, "Uncle Tai, wheres my mom?" I asked, but Uncle Tai got a sad look in his eyes.
"(y/n) sit down theirs a lot I need to tell you" he said as we both sat down on the couch and he began to tell me all that had occurred in my absence.
Flashback Summer POV
It's been almost two years since (y/n) disappeared and I still can't help but search the woods for his body. A few months after (y/n) disappeared Qrow and I had gotten divorced for the simple reason he wanted to give up searching for our son. a year later Tai and I had gotten married and had a child named Ruby.
I was out on a mission while searching for (y/n) where I met a girl who couldn't have been older than seventeen or eighteen. She wore a red and gold combat dress and had beautiful amber eyes, her short hair was draped over her left eye. She looked sad . I walked over to her to see if I could help her, then I felt a sharp pain in my chest and when I looked down I saw that I had been impaled through the heart by a large glass spike that shot out from the ground.
As the girl approached me the spike retracted covered in my blood. I fell to the ground and as the girl walked past me I heard her say "I'm sorry" then she passed from my view. I lied their on the ground in a pool of my own blood slowly dieing.
"I'll see you soon (y/n)." I weakly said as tears began to flow from my eyes and my final breath escaped my lungs. Everything began to fade into a dark void and then their was nothing.
End flashback (y/n) POV
After Uncle Tai had literally destroyed my once happy life he still wasn't done. "And now (y/n) your father is a drunken mess I doubt that you would even recognize him apart from his cloths." he said, I had reached my breaking point, I couldn't take this anymore. So I ran away.
I remembered how mom had told me about a place called Vale and how she would like to take me there one day. Then the same void that brought me here reappeared and I ran through it and found myself alone in a dark ally across from a bar. When I looked through the large front window of the bar I saw my father drunk and hitting on a waitress. I ran once more not knowing or caring where I was going or where I was going to end up
Time skip three months
It was cold out and the once pristine cape attached to my cloths was torn and tattered, I shivered uncontrollably. I was hungry and I had notably lost a lot of weight.
"Are you lost little boy?" a woman with amber eyes asked, I didn't answer. No one really cared when they say me instead of helping me they just continued to walk past me pretending like I didn't exist. So when this woman approached me I knew something was up I reached for my switch blade which had slightly dulled dew to how much I had used it.
"There's no need for that," she said as she walked closer to me, "now are you lost little boy?" she asked once again. "No." I said, and mere moments later it began to rain. The woman grabbed the umbrella from under her arm and opened it. She put the umbrella over me and offered me her hand. I took hold of her hand and rose to my feet. "My name is Cinder Fall, would you like to come live with me?" she said I nodded in reply. "Ok then lets go. Oh I almost forgot I don't know your name." she said, "It's (y/n)." I said curtly, "and your last name?" she asked, "I don't have one anymore I lost it when I lost my family." I said, Cinder pulled me into a warm hug I didn't resist her. "From this day forward you will have a new family (y/n), I can adopt you and raise you as my son if you like." she said, I couldn't speak the words refused to leave my mouth, I felt tears form in my eyes and as I began to cry I joined Cinder in the hug.
She wiped the tears from my eyes and held my hand as we began to walk down the street.
We eventually reached Cinders apartment. When she opened the door to the apartment she relieved a small one bedroom apartment. It had a small TV in the living room that connected to the kitchen.
I let out a yawn Cinder had noticed and picked me up and carried me to the bed. She set me down on the bed and laid out a T-shirt that was clearly too big for me, but she tole me to take off the cloths I had on and wear the shirt so she could wash my cloths. I did as I was told.
"I'll try to get you some new clothes tomorrow, but for now you will just have to settle for one of my old T-shirts." she said as she helped me put on the shirt, when it was on it reached down past my knees. Cinder picked me up once more and then lied me down in the bed and pulled the covers over me. "Goodnight (y/n)" she said before kissing me on the forehead.

AN: Ok another chapter down and I hope that people like this one. I know it's really long but I thought it would be better to make it like this as opposed to splitting it up.
As I said at the beginning I want to know what you guys think will happen next in the story and I may use some ideas in the next part as well. Thanks for reading!
