Once green
Once full and dark
this summer wanes
and cool winds return

Father flew away
Mother does not say
does not know
the path of the rose

where I lay
my universal heart
in the night
and in my pain

I step over the grave
and into the park
finding alarm
wrapped at my feet

Wolves came out to play
and I run back the clock
waking to find this body
here on my dreamer's walk
