"What kind of horny devil would buy this?" Mendalie asked.

Runa and Mendalie were standing in a novelty store at the mall. Runa laughed. She was looking at some strange contraption with Mendalie in the 'adult' section of the store.

"Wait a minute, Mendie. I think I seen one of these," Runa told her.

"Really," Mendalie asked, "Where?"

"Remember the last time I stayed at your house. I think I saw one of those in your parents' room."

"Shut up! That's gross!" Mendalie said, putting it down. "You did not!"

Runa laughed and then Mendalie laughed with her.

They walked out of the store. They were already carrying a couple of bags.

"I don't know who needs that stuff," Runa told her.

"Crazy people," Mendalie said, "Probably like Brian."

"No, we don't need any of that," Runa said.

"Oh really? Always the good girl," Mendalie said as they walked toward the open area at the center of the second floor.

"I am not," Runa protested.

"It's alright honey," Mendalie said. "I like you that way. It's easier to tease you."

"Gee thanks," Runa replied.

"Seriously though, we ought to go to 'that' store downstairs and get something for Brian," Mendalie told her. "If you know what I mean." She tilted her head down and looked up at her seductively.

"I know what you mean and no," Runa said.

"Oh come on. It'll be fun," Mendalie said. Runa was quiet. Mendalie looked at her, wondering why she didn't want to. "I'll pay for it."

Runa smiled, "Really?"

"Yep, but I get to help pick it out."

"Okay" she said.
