Chapter 4
Adrien's POV:
He has not seen his father all day.
"No surprise there as he is always busy." He says this more as a fact than anything else.
He is glad that he is almost ready to move out. He cannot stand the creepiness of the place.
"Natalie, have you seen my father?"
"You mean, recently?"
"Yes, I mean recently. What else could I mean?"
"Well, Adrien, as a matter a fact I did, this morning."
"Did he say anything about an apartment? I have seen some nice ones in this magazine and online."
"Sorry, Adrien, he did not. He did say that he would be away on business for two months." Natalie lies.
"Two months, he will be gone that long?"
"Yes, sorry, Adrien. He did say not to worry, your guardian will still be available to chauffeur you around, and I will be here too."
"Ugh, it figures he is always too busy for me. I am his son, and he acts like I do not even exist."
Adrien walks off as Natalie tries to explain further. Whatever it is, he rather not hear it. He is tired of all the excuses, lies, and secrets. He goes to his room livid, to say the least.
"I can not believe this, Plagg."
Plagg just munches on cheese as Adrien vents about the troubles with his father once more.
"Plagg, are you even listening to me?"
"Oh, yes, sorry. I just finished my slice of Camembert."
"Adrien, I think that maybe you need a hobby, or a girlfriend to keep your mind off all this stress."
"Plagg, you are right perhaps a hobby would do me some good. I can ask Marinette to help me. I am sure she is full of all sorts of great ideas!"
Plagg nods his head in agreement.
Adrien pulls out his phone and dials a number he has not in a few weeks.
"Hi, Marinette! It is me, Adrien!"
