Aries pov

I groaned and my breath hitched as John stabbed me through my hand and proceeded to stab me in the chest

It felt like a punch to the gut, and my body just went numb as i slid down to the floor, my body turned cold and started to shiver as I looked at John.

"Be seeing you" I signed

"sure." John signed back even though he knew that wasn't true since he knew for a fact that I was dying and wouldn't be seeing him no time soon

And he was the person I saw before I closed my eyes and accepted my fate and waited for death to take me but to my surprise....it never came.

I awoke with a gasp, the memory of John's knife stabbing into my body still vivid. Pain shot through me, but she was still alive.

How the hell was I still alive? No one ever survived a fight with John wick unless he wanted you to survive.

I looked around with my eyes and I found myself in a dimly lit room, surrounded by unfamiliar faces. The scent of antiseptic hung heavy in the air.

"You're lucky to be alive," a calm voice said. I turned to see a tall man with a stern expression. "We found you just in time."

He wasn't part of the high table that I was sure of. None of them were.

Who was this guy? And where was I? I asked myself

"Why?" I signed weakly my body still weak

The man stepped closer. "You have a new mission, Aries. One that requires your particular set of skills and experience."

"You know who I am? How? I signed

"Of course we know who you are. Your Alessandra Armani daughter of the late contessa and Francesco Armani but you go by your alias Aries. You were Santino D'Antonio's right hand woman for a number of years"  the man said

Whoever these people were have done there research. I haven't heard my birth given name in years. Wait....he said was santino's right hand woman. That meant santino was dead

The man must have sensed what I was thinking and nodded

John wick killed him at the Continental. He said

He killed him on company grounds. That was against the rules of the high table. He's now excommunicado.

Which was good it mad it that much easier to kill him for what he did to me and for him killing santino

"I know you want to get revenge that's going to have to wait." The man said as I looked at him " you still need to recover from your injuries and like I said we need you for a new assignment"

"Who the hell are you?" I signed

My name is Alexei and I'm the head of the royal council of the kingdom in Romania and before you ask, the high table is aware that you are alive and know you are with us. Alexei said

So I'm in Romania? I signed

No you're in Montana since that's where your new person that you will protect is Alexei said

From what I gathered I couldn't readily refuse this especially since I had them to thank for me being alive

Alright. I'll do it. I signed

"Good choice. And because this is such an important assignment" Alexei said as he pulled out a blood marker

He wants me to take a blood oath. This girl must very important and the reason for her needing a body guard must be serious.

After doing the oath Alexei left me to rest but rest was the last thing on my mind.

I was sad that santino was dead. I was angry with myself because I let John kill him and I was furious with John for killing him

And that's when I made a promise to myself that once this job was done.

John wick would be my next mission.
