6 months have passed since I had been saved from the brink of death. My  body had healed, but I still had the scar on my hand and chest that reminded me of my  encounter with John Wick and the promise that I had made.

I had been lying low, training, regaining my strength, and refining my skills since I had a feeling Alexei would be calling me soon about the girl I was to be protecting.

And I was right. Later that evening a message appeared out of thin air on my dining room table

I hesitantly picked up and saw that It was from Alexei and saw that he wanted me to meet him at a school called st Vladimir's academy.

Hmm...never heard of that academy before it must be very exclusive.

I soon met Alexei at the school and was immediately taken to the back and down to an office where he was waiting with a few other people.

"Aries, Your new assignment is of utmost importance," he said get down to business immediately as I sat down across from him "You are to protect a young girl. She's the last of her line and her safety is paramount."

Who is she? I signed as the door opened revealing a young girl.

She looked to be about 5'3" tall, with wavy auburn hair with light blue eyes, and full lips. She was gorgeous.

"This is Princess Natasha," alexei said. "She is a Moroi vampire, the last of her family line. Her enemies are many, and she needs a guardian."

wait....hold up....vampire? I signed

Yes. Alexei said like it wasn't weird in the slightest

But I thought vampires were a myth you know made up characters for stories And movies you know like Dracula and twilight. I signed as alexei rolled he's eyes

"Yes, vampires exist they just don't associate with humans but some humans know of our existence a depict us in a horror light. They make movies such as twilight and they are incredibly inaccurate." Alexei said "Natasha will answer any questions you have"

And with that Natasha got up and I immediately followed her. As we walked through the halls and passed different kids I noticed that's certain people would give Natasha dirty looks and would hiss at her showing there fangs and I watched Natasha through the whole thing as well and noticed that she didn't give me them a second glance but I could tell it bothered her.

Not because it showed on her face but because I could see it in her eyes.

Soon we arrived after walking down many halls at what I'm guessing is her bedroom it looked to be cut off from the rest of the student dorms

When Natasha opened the door I looked like a mini house I had to stop my mouth from hitting the floor

As you enter the royal suite through ornately carved double doors made of rich mahogany and inlaid with gold leaf patterns, you step into a grand foyer. The floor is made of polished marble with intricate mosaic designs, and a stunning crystal chandelier hangs from the vaulted ceiling, casting a warm, inviting glow.

"This sitting room" Natasha said speaking to me for the first time since we met

She had a beautiful Romanian accent.

As I looked around the room I saw that she didn't have a lot of pictures of herself or her family hung up that's when I noticed the boxes in the corner of the room

She hasn't unpacked them yet. That's odd.

Next she led me to her bedroom. And it was huge.

The main bedroom was an expansive space, exuding opulence and elegance. The walls are adorned with silk wallpaper in a rich, deep hue, perhaps royal blue or deep crimson, complemented by intricate gold trimming. The ceiling was a masterpiece of its own, with a fresco depicting a serene sky or bordered by crown molding.

At the center of the room stands a magnificent king-sized canopy bed, draped with luxurious velvet curtains in a matching color to the wallpaper, with gold tassels and fringes. The bed itself is dressed in the finest Egyptian cotton sheets, a plush duvet, and an array of silk pillows. At the foot of the bed, there is a delicately upholstered bench, perfect for seating or laying out garments.

Adjacent to the bed, antique nightstands made of polished wood with mother-of-pearl inlay hold elegant, brass table lamps with silk shades. A pair of comfortable armchairs with a small table between them create a cozy reading nook by the large, arched windows, which are framed by heavy brocade drapes.

The room is decorated with carefully chosen artworks, including classic oil paintings in gilded frames and exquisite sculptures placed on pedestals. A grand fireplace with an ornate mantel serves as a focal point on one side of the room, with a large mirror above it reflecting the room’s grandeur. Modern comforts are seamlessly integrated, including a discreetly hidden large-screen television and a state-of-the-art sound system. A Persian rug, lush and vibrant, covers part of the marble floor, adding warmth and comfort underfoot.

And yet again she had no pictures of herself or her family and like in the sitting room she had boxes in the corner

Come I'll show you your bedroom. Natasha said as she led me to a set of double doors that were on the right side of her bedroom

The adjoining bedroom features a queen-sized bed with a tufted headboard, covered in high-thread-count linens and a soft cashmere throw. The color scheme is lighter, with pastel hues and gold accents, creating a tranquil ambiance.

A vanity table with a large mirror and an upholstered stool sits in one corner, perfect for personal grooming. A writing desk with an elegant chair offers a space for correspondence or quiet work. The room also includes a small seating area with a loveseat and a coffee table.

I had also noticed that they had my stuff already in the room for me to unpack

Do you like it? Natasha asked as I got out a pen and paper to write my answer with but was stopped Natasha who shook her head no

That won't be needed. I learned sign language after Alexei informed me that you were a mute. I figured it would make it easier on you and it could be used when or if we are in a situation where me talking would be dangerous Natasha said

This girl was smart which was a surprise to me since post princesses I've met during my time with santino were complete airheads

"That was a smart and considerate thing to do and you are right it would come in handy if we were ever in a situation like that." I signed "yes I like it"

Oh good I'm glad. I'll show you the bathroom Natasha said as she  walked over to bathroom which looked to be connected to both our rooms

Both bedrooms share access to an en-suite bathroom that is the epitome of luxury. The bathroom features a large soaking tub, a spacious walk-in shower with a rainfall showerhead, and double sinks set in a marble countertop. The walls are covered in marble tiles, and the fixtures are all polished gold. Plush towels, high-end toiletries, and a heated floor complete the experience.

After she showed me the bathroom I noticed that she had a balcony which I immediately went to take a look at to see if there was a way for someone to climb up here

The set of French doors in the main bedroom opens onto a private balcony overlooking meticulously landscaped gardens or a stunning natural vista, furnished with elegant outdoor seating where one can enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while taking in the view.

After looking at everything I nodded to myself before going back inside to see Natasha waiting for me with a stack of books
