I was frozen in fear. I looked at my mothers dead body... "No... No no no NO!!!" I yelled, slamming my fist on the ground. "It's all my fault" I said, tears streaming from my eyes. My dad walked up behind me and stopped dead in his tracks. "What... But.. She... No..." He said, slumping down on the ground covering his head with his wings. "Dad I'm sorry this is all my fault.. It my fault mom is dead..." I said, even more tears coming from my eyes. "Shadow it's not your fault. But I just don't understand how she died.." He replied. "Dad... You and G go home. I'll keep investigating" I said, not even sure if I wanted to be with alone with my mothers dead body. "Fine." My dad said. He scooped up G in his talons and flew back to the cave. I walked up closer to my mother and was intrigued by something on her neck. There was a long scrape and two holes next to each other. I slowly went over to the tree behind my mother and stumbled back. I had this really bad headache when I went near the tree. I went up even closer, the pain in my head raging. I looked at the tree trunk and could make only this out:

Why did you send her?
You knew it was her time to die
I killed her for you
You will thank me
