A couple years later, Starlight woke up early and ran towards the window, she noticed that the Sun wasn't up yet.

Starlight smiled as she ran towards her parents room. She slowly opened the door and saw you and Shadow sleeping. She climbed on the bed and started jumping on it.

"Mommy! Daddy! Wake up! It's my birthday!" Y/N slowly woke up as you slowly looked at her.

"S-Starlight?"

"Hi mommy!"

"You're up early."

"I know! It's my birthday!" You giggled as you tried to wake up Shadow.

"Shadow."

"Hmm?"

"Time to get up." Shadow sat up and rubbed his eyes.

"Daddy! It's my birthday!"

"Happy birthday my little angel." Starlight giggled and hugged her parents.

You and Shadow hugged back.

"Why don't you go see what auntie Rouge is doing. I heard she has something for you." Y/N said.

"Ok!" Starlight quickly ran out of the room.

"What time is it?" Shadow asked. You looked at the clock and got up.

"Time to raise the Sun." Shadow nodded and got up. Starlight ran towards her room and looked outside. She wanted to see her parents raise the Sun.

Once it was time, the Moon started to set and the Sun began to rise. Once the Sun was up, Starlight smiled and ran towards Rouge's room and knocked on the door. Rouge opened the door and saw Starlight.

"Well hello there little one."

"Hi auntie Rouge. Mommy said that you have something for me."

"Did she now? Well she just ruined the surprise. Anyways, come on in and I'll give it to you."

"Ok!"Starlight walked inside her room and watched Rouge grab something from her closet. She gave her a small present.

"Happy Birthday." Starlight smiled as she opened it. It was a very rare necklace. Starlight gasped a little with a smile.

"I love it! Thanks auntie Rouge!"

"You're welcome." Rouge gave Starlight a hug and then she helped her put on the necklace. Starlight smiled.

"See you later Starlight."

"Ok!" Starlight left the room and saw a bunch of knights walking around. Starlight walked past them and accidentally bumps into Silver.

"Whoa! Take it easy little one."

"Sorry uncle Silver."

"It's alright. I heard it's your birthday."

"Yeah! I'm turning 5!"

"Already!? Wow! It feels like just yesterday I was holding you in my arms as a baby." Starlight giggled and then saw Sonic walking towards them.

"Hi uncle Faker!"

"Starlight. We've been over this. Call me uncle Sonic."

"Sorry but it's just so funny."

"You're becoming more like your dad everyday." Starlight laughed a little.

"Well happy birthday little one. I'll see you later."

"Bye!" Sonic walked away.

"I'm gonna go too. Bye Starlight."

"Bye uncle Silver." Silver starts walking away.

Later, you asked Cream if she could take Starlight out for a while, while they plan her surprise party. Once it was ready, Shadow sent one of his knights to tell Cream to bring Starlight home.

Once Cream got the message, she looked at Starlight.

"Starlight. Time to go home."

"Ok auntie Cream." Cream and Starlight were on their way home. When they arrived, everyone jumped out and said,

"Surprise!" Starlight smiled brightly and ran towards her parents.

"You did this for me?"

"Of course we did. We love you." Y/N said.

"I love you too." You and Shadow hugged her and began to celebrate her birthday.
