A few days later, Shadow was finally healed and went to go collect some water for himself and his friends.

He placed a few buckets down and went to collect some water near the waterfall. While he was doing this, you came towards him, panting from exhaustion and sat near him.

"Is there a reason why you need to do that here?" He asked.

"Sorry. I was trying to get the Cheetah Spirit but I guess I'm not the best at running. I just needed some water and Silver said this place has the best tasting water."

Shadow gave you one of the buckets and you began to drink.

"Shadow!"

You both turned your head and saw Sonic running towards you and Shadow.

"We got a problem."

Soon, everyone was at Scourge's Land, yelling and arguing at him.

"Everyone calm down!" Scourge yelled.

"They have found us!"

"We need to leave this place while we can!"

"It's not safe here anymore!"

You and Shadow went towards your friends.

"What's going on?" Y/N asked.

"Apparently, someone spread the word about Shadow getting attacked by the outsiders." Knuckles said.

"Do you know who?" Y/N asked.

"Nope."

"We haven't seen a single outsider since we got here! We'll be fine!" Scourge said.

"Don't lie to them Scourge."

Scourge turned his head and saw Blaze.

"Blaze!? You told them!"

"As the King, that would be your job. But since you didn't, I told them for you. You're welcome."

"How am I supposed to deal with this!?"

"You're the King. Not me." Blaze said as she walked away.

While everyone was arguing at Scourge, Shadow was about to leave when suddenly you asked,

"Where are you going?"

"This is a waste of time. I'm not gonna stand here and watch everyone argue."

Shadow walked away while you just stood there and looked at the crowd. You soon decided to join him.

"You are one strange hedgehog."

Shadow smirked and turned into a Tiger.

"Wanna repeat that?"

Before you could say anything, Shadow placed you on his back and started running.

"Whoa!"

Shadow smirked again and kept running. You held onto him tightly, hopping you won't fall off.

After running for awhile, Shadow stopped running and sets you down gently.

"You're crazy!"

Shadow chuckled a bit and turned back to normal.

"Your reaction was priceless."

You rolled your eyes with a smile.

"Since you went through so much trouble for me, how about we hang out together?"

"Really?"

"Yeah. How does tomorrow sound?"

"Alright. Sure."

"Ok then."

You and Shadow began to spend a lot more time together and you two had become better friends.

When you and Shadow went back to the village after hunting, Amy came up to you and said,

"We finished your home Y/N!"

"Really!?"

"Yup! Wanna come see it?"

"Yeah I would!"

Amy took you to your new tent and your friends were standing in front of it.

"Go ahead and check it out Y/N." Silver said as you went inside.

*You can pretend that it's your dream home.*

You walked back outside and looked at the others.

"Well? What do you think?" Sonic asked.

You gave them a big smile and said,

"I love it!"

They all cheered and gave you a hug. You hugged back, thanking them.
