You, Shadow and Maria arrived back home and saw your friends chatting with each other.

"Finally, all of that drama went away. Thanks a lot Blaze!" Scourge said as Blaze rolled her eyes.

"I'm just looking out for a friend. Maybe you can look out for the Kingdom."

"I am gonna kill you Cat!"

"Knock it off you two." Knuckles said.

"Don't worry Blaze, at least you were trying to do the right thing." Silver said.

Blaze smiled at him.

"Thanks Silver."

Silver smiled back but it faded when he noticed something up ahead.

"Uh...am I going crazy or do I see Maria right over there?"

"Maria's gone Silver. You've probably been under the Sun to long." Knuckles said.

"I don't think he's joking guys. Look." Sonic pointed ahead as they turned their heads.

They all gasped as they saw this.

"Is that..."

"Maria?"

"But that's impossible!"

"We better go see what this is about."

They walked towards you guys as they were still shocked.

Scourge was even more shocked.

"Maria?!"

"Scourge!"

Before Scourge could go to her, Knuckles stopped him.

"Hold it right there your highness. How are we supposed to know that it is actually Maria? I mean, wasn't she dead?"

"Well...it looks like her." Amy said.

Sonic walked towards her in his wolf form and smelled her.

"It smells like her." He said, telepathically.

"Looks like your up Scourge." Knuckles said as Sonic turned back to normal.

Scourge turned into a Lion and walked towards her slowly.

Maria began to shapeshift too as her whole body was glowing.

You were wondering what she was going to turn into.

She slowly started shapeshifting into a Lioness.

You were shocked as the glow went away and now Maria was in her Lioness form.

She still had her yellow color and her blue eyes of course.

Scourge and Maria walked towards each other and placed their heads on each other's foreheads. Smiled at one another and then moved away a bit.

They started running around each other for a few seconds in sync, crouched down like they are about to attack their prey and then, they stood on two feet, placed their paws on one another and roared loudly.

Scourge was shocked and they both went back on their four feet.

"It really is her." Scourge said.

"How is that possible? How are you alive?" Blaze asked.

Maria told them the same story as she and Scourge turned back to normal as everyone widened their eyes.

"So you must of been that animal that got Shadow injured." Blaze said.

"I did? Oh I am so sorry Shadow. I didn't even see you."

"It's alright. I'm doing fine now."

"I have a question." Y/N said.

"Sure!"

"So it looks like you're a Lioness Shapeshifter but...you seem very close with Scourge. Are you his girlfriend?"

Scourge and Maria looked at each other and started laughing hard.

You were confused at this as they continued laughing. You looked at Shadow and asked,

"Why are they laughing?"

"Well...Y/N...."

"Oh Y/N! That was the most hilarious thing I have heard all day!" Scourge said as he kept laughing.

"What are you talking about?"

"Y/N?! Maria's my sister!" Maria grinned nervously.

"WHAT!?"
