Everyone was totally shocked. Shadow started forming tears. Y/N saw this and felt bad.

"Now you all know and now since you do, it's time to finish what I started."

Sanctum took one of the Knights swords and threw it at Shadow. Mephiles widened his eyes.

"No!" Mephiles ran in front of Shadow and got stabbed in the chest. Everyone gasped loudly. Shadow widened his eyes.

"Dad!" Shadow placed Mephiles head on his lap.

"Dad! Can you hear me?" Mephiles looked at him weakly.

"I-I'm sorry for trying to get you to marry s-someone you don't love. You d-deserve better. I'm proud that y-you found someone. I'm proud of you son. You are the true King. D-Defeat your brother and s-save the Kingdoms. I love you son." Shadow began forming tears.

"I love you too dad." Mephiles smiled and closed his eyes as he went to permanent sleep. Shadow started crying softly.

"Oh what a shame. But don't worry little bro. You'll be joining him soon." Shadow formed his hands into a fist as he glared at Sanctum with tears and anger.

"I'll kill you!" Shadow and Sanctum began to fight. The Knights just watched not knowing what to do. Y/N kicked Scourge's leg, making him let go of you as you began fighting him.

After a while of fighting, you grabbed one of the Knights swords and stabbed Scourge in the neck, killing him. Shadow and Sanctum continued to fight. Sanctum kicked him so hard that it sent him flying. When he landed, he could barely move.

Sanctum walked towards him and held the sword towards his neck.

"I'm the true King now. Any last words little bro?" Sanctum asked. Shadow quickly kicked him, grabbed his sword and aimed it at Sanctum.

"Goodbye brother."

"No!" Shadow sliced his neck, killing him. Shadow panted as he finally won. The war was now over. Everyone cheered for Shadow. You ran towards Shadow and hugged him.

"You did it!"

"We did it Y/N. We did it." Y/N smiled and continued hugging him.

"I'm sorry about your father Shadow."

"It's ok. At least he's with mom again." Y/N hugged him gently as he hugged back.
