Flasback in april 5, 2015

Marshall was 4 months old and he was living with his parents, but his mother was totally sick with a lot of fever, and unfortunally she died after 1 week. His father was too sad about his wife loss that he started to work with a group of thieves to find money on his own for his child, but his kid didn't wanted to be a thief and hurt anyone; so he decided to escape from his home and he was on the streets very hungry and thirsty.
Untill...

Marshall: Oh! I miss you mom... and also dad, but I didn't wanted to be evil just like dad was with these people

Marshall was walking lonelly on the streets, and then he saw a boy who was alone just like him, he walked towards him and he hear him saying...

???: Maria... I'm sorry... if I didn't help you... now I'm all alone now...

And Marshall spoke to him...

Marshall: Um... hi, are you okay?

Shadow: Oh! Um... hi little dog...

Marshall: Why are you crying? Did something happened?

Shadow: Yes... where I came from... no one wanted me... since what happen in the ARK...

Marshall: What is the ARK?

Shadow: It was... my home... and I was with my friend Maria... untill... some persons shooted at her... and then I was inside that capsule for 40 years...

Marshall: I know it's sad, I lost my mom 2 weeks ago and my dad is stealing people and hurting them, and I wanted to escape from home... but now I'm so hungry and thirsty and I don't know where to go...

Shadow: Okay... I will help you get food, I'm sure you are too hungry

Marshall: Thank you so much!

Shadow: You're welcome, now come with me

Marshall: Wait! I wanna know your name...

Shadow: I'm... Shadow

Marshall: And I'm Marshall

Shadow: Marshall... a friend of Maria was called like that...

Marshall: Who is Maria?

Shadow: I will tell you later, now I better get you some food and water

Marshall: Okay...

They headed to a pet store and Shadow asked the pet shop's owner to get some milk for the dalmatian

Owner: Here you go!

Shadow: Thank you!

Marshall: Wait! That doesn't look like  milk Shadow!

Shadow: Don't worry, this is milk in powder, is like the milk you drink from your mother

Marshall: Oh! My owner gave me one of those, now I remember

Shadow: Okay Marshall, here you go

Shadow gave Marshall his drink and then they go to a wood house to stay and live there

Marshall: So Shadow... can you tell me about your friend Maria?

Shadow: Well... she had blond hair and a blue dress, and sometimes we played "hide and seek" and I always won, and we always watched the Earth from the windows

Marshall: And why did they kill her?

Shadow: I didn't know Marshall, I don't know what they wanted with her

Marshall: And with you too?

Shadow: Yes... I didn't knowed what they wanted from us...

Marshall: Well... at least you got me now, and we both lost people who we loved so much

Shadow: I think you're right...

Marshall: Shadow... do you want to be my friend?

Shadow: Yes Marshall... I will be your friend, and I will find you an owner...

Marshall: And you will visit me?

Shadow: Sure, I will

Then they go to sleep and they were sleeping well, but Marshall got a nightmare...

Marshall: AHH!

Shadow: Marshall! What's wrong?

Marshall: I... dreamed... that my dad came here... and he tried to kill us... the both of us!

Shadow: It's okay now! Calm down... you're fine with me now Marshall... you are my friend okay? I will always be with you. Come here, you can sleep with me

Marshall: Thanks Shadow...

Shadow: You're welcome...

Marshall get to Shadow's bed and he accomodate right next to him

Marshall: Good night Shadow...

Shadow: Good night Marshall...

Back with Everest...

Everest: He was... nice...

Marshall: Well... it may have happened 5 years ago, but I still remember his words

Everest: But if you were 4 months old, how many years Shadow had?

Marshall: He was 15 years old, even if he was stuck in that capsule for a long time

Everest: Well... I will go to bed, you can tell me the rest tomorrow

Marshall: Okay, good night Everest...

Marshall:(to himself) I miss you Shadow...
