I wished the pencil was sharp... I wish- But I couldn't. I felt that there were ponies all around me, but none noticed. I couldn't do it in public. In a locked room, yes. Here? No. I began slitting it multiple times.

"Shadow, no." A male pony said to me. It felt familiar. It felt close. It felt like it was right next to me... I kept doing it. Why would he care?

"Shadow, don't self harm." He said, trying to grab the pencil from my paw. I quickly moved the pencil away from him.

"Why not?" I questioned, in an optimistic voice, disguising my pain. I just had to put on a smile for the day, and fake. That's all. It was very exhausting...

"Because, you told me not to, so you shouldn't." He said. Which was indeed, true.

"You don't deserve to." I said, replying to him in a quiet.

"You don't deserve it, either." He said.

"I disagree." I replied.

The vision ended, and I turned to the others. I fake smiled at them, to make them happy. They didn't deserve to be pulled down with me... I had to be positive.. Plus, it was an adventure that we were going on!

"Are you all ready?" I asked, in a simple tone of voice. They all beamed, and showed their ways of saying yes. They all nodded, and it was quiet for some reason..

"YES!" Lucy said, chasing her tail, breaking the quiet silence. I nodded myself accepting it, and we began on our route to where our adventure would start.
