"Thanks, Shadow! I mean.. Chosen one." They said the last part under their breath, so I only caught the first.

"No problem, Nook." I looked at them, and beamed even more. I loved having my chosen family by my side... I wished and hoped that, that would never change.

"Alright, everyone. Shall we head back and go see Winter?" I asked, looking at all of them. Athena chirped wildly, while Nook looked excited. Lucy and Echo nodded, letting their doggish tongues hang out, forming a doggish smile across both of their faces.

"Okie then. Let's go, everyone." I said, leading the way. I trotted along the path of the deeper Everfree, which seemed to descend into less and less rough terrain the further I got. I could feel my claws start to feel less and less guarded, and buried under my fur.

I could hear the trots in the back of me, keeping pace with the trotting rhythm that I was doing. There was only one problem with that: I was unpredictable.... I could change everything VERY quickly. And so, that's exactly what I was going to do.

I began running, which didn't really throw them off, but then I began flying- Drifting off into the sky- Which, I could tell that they were a little confused with that, but they found a way to follow.

I thought occurred to me, when I was landing my flight. 'Where would I find Winter? I mean, she didn't leave the Everfree, she stayed, and she stayed in my area, too.. But where? I would have to pick up her scent.'

I began running even more, and that's when we spotted the obstacle that lead us to where we were. Infact, we spotted all of the obstacles that we crossed, and we safely crossed them again.

Now, we were back on the road to back home.
