I shouted into the cold, now night time air. I felt alone. I felt the loneliness creeping onto me. I cried the words of my friend's name onto the lonely darkness.
The moon brings the unbelievable truth, but you need to bare it.
I collapsed onto Looka, and I scooped up Looka in my paws and held her. I layed over her, levitating by my knees. I cried onto her fur.
She couldn't be dead. I wouldn't accept that. Looka, my chosen family member was dead. And, I was with her to! I didn't do anything. I couldn't do anything. I softly cried onto Looka.
My eyes widened as I remembered my vision that always caused my panic attacks. It was just like this... No... I-
It couldn't happen this way! It was all my fault! Everything was my fault! It was always my fault!
I could feel myself falling deeper into another panic attack. Heavy breathing, shaking, crying... It was all happening, and I couldn't be saved.
"Sh-Shadow..?" A weak, and soft female voice came from the creature that I was holding. Looka's eyes opened slowly, but it looked like they were heavy for her. Her tail started to swing slowly back and forth while a small doggish smile crept upon her face. Of course it was weak, of course she was weak. She held much valor. She was living for something. She was strong. She would continue to live. She would go on, and never give up. And, I would make sure of that. I would make sure of that as long as I was living.
My crying immediately froze and stopped. My heart didn't beat, I stood frozen. My eyes widened even more, and my mouth dropped open.
I lifted my head from Looka, and stared down at her.
