Stories Begin
Looka began her story again, as she was still looking off into the misty/dusty/foggy distance. There was nothing but snow to be see... And of course, the blinding light of the sun.
"When I was put in the back, the heavy equipment they put on me sank me low into the snow. Usually, my pads on my paws kept me at ground height, and that would make it so I could walk on snow, and sometimes even ice! It was really cool, too. It was almost like a wolf's paw, but not as large... Or... Sharp, for that matter. I was sinking in the snow... Not because of the equipment, but because I was the runt. I was too short and too weak and that was all I would ever be. That was the truth. And, I accepted that. I accepted myself. I loved myself for the way that I was, and the way that I still am.
Now, that wasn't exactly what bothered me... The dog that I was placed in the back however, was what I was worried about. The dog in the back hated me, and he went out of his way to clearly show that.
This dog's name was Scoff. As said before, he is a male. This dog was indeed a husky, but to me, he looked more like an arctic fox... A mean one, at that. But really, I couldn't say anything about him. I felt bad for him. I felt very bad for him. He had gotten abused by the owners... The owners turned him into a monster. Once, I actually overheard the other dogs talking about how nice he used to be, how he used to be like me... A runt. But, not anymore. He wasn't himself... He lost himself in the process."
