I all told them what Sterope had told me, and they were just as excited as I was... But, one thing crossed my mind: This would be the first time Athena would see her actual parents... Would she know them? How would Sterope and Astra react? This worried me, but I also had hope that everything would turn out okay..

In a short time period, we reached the tree. Their tree was not far from my house, actually, I made it seem further than it actually was... It was right down the path of coming up to my cabin, which, made me seem very lazy.

The dogs sat next to each other, and backed a little ways away from the tree. Athena, on the other paw, she circled the tree, and seemed like she had a scent caught in her nose... Which, she was probably wondering why the scent was so familiar to her...

I sighed, and began to feel nervous, but I knocked on the tree bark. Athena flew down, and perched by me.

Sterope and Astra both came out. "Oh, hey Shadow!" They said in unison. They seemed happy. They looked at the dogs, and they smiled. "We see you've brought company." They replied to themselves.

I nodded. They then looked down at Athena, and the most heart breaking, yet, heart warming thing happened... Athena flew up, and she tackled them both in a hug.

"Ah!" Sterope shouted, and Astra giggled. They both hugged Athena back. "Hello there, Athena." They said, greeting themselves to her.

Athena chirped and tilted her head... Could she not understand them? Oh no... "What?" Sterope asked, and tilted his head. "We can't understand what you're saying." Astra said, in an honest manner.

....So... Even them... They couldn't understand Athena... That... That worried me.

Athena released the hug, and came back down toward me.
