I just sat there, engulfed in my own emotions. I was able to move my right paw somewhat, so I put my right paw over Shadow's heart.

'There was no heart beat. No melody. Where was the harmony?' My mind thought. I could feel myself shattering all over again...
This was worse than my past. Knowing a wolf like Shadow who would risk everything, even her own life for you. Who would sacrifice everything, so that you could live.
So that you could have a happy ending while she was stuck in her own nightmare.

"I WON'T  LET YOU DIE ON ME, SHADOW!" I cried in encouragement. I knew she wouldn't die. She had much to do... The Golden Wolf, the prophecy... She couldn't die yet! I wouldn't let it happen!

I heard a noise, and then footsteps walking towards Shadow and I. I didn't move. I would stay by her side like she did mine.

It appeared that Scoff had gotten up, and recovered. He was back. He faced himself to me... He was totally different.

I looked at him.

He looked the same, but there was a completely different aura to him... He was a totally different dog.

"Y-You've g-got to save her..." I said to him, quivering with pleading eyes.

He nodded. "I will." He said, quietly.

I stepped back, and joined the others while I examined what he did.

Scoff used some sort of a power to heal her... He lifted his paw over her heart, and a light came from his paw. I could see Shadow's wounds all healing at instance.

He lifted his paw, and walked away from her body... She looked perfectly okay, but, she still layed there- Motionless...

I walked over to her slowly... When I reached her, I sat down and looked at her.

"Sh-Shadow... N-No..."
