My paw made my way toward the lever without hesitation. It was time to flip a page in the story of not only my book, but so many others...

I finally, carefully, flipped the switch. My eyes were met with a flash of white, and then pure darkness. I felt myself lose all power in my body, I felt myself float to the ground like a feather, and I felt myself plant into the ground and then route myself into the ground... Why was my body acting like a lilac in spring? Why was I just a flower waiting to sprout?

I could just feel myself laying there, just breathing, but not being able to move anything. Was I not in control of my body anymore? Wait! Was I poisoned? I couldn't be... Could I?

My eyes finally lifted their heavy selves, and my eyes started to adjust. It was a bit blurry, but I was starting to see again. Everything was the way where I had left it, nothing had changed. That meant: I wasn't poisoned.

I basically sighed in relief in my mind.  I tried to look to see where my chosen family was, but they were out of my eyesight. I then started to feel energy make it's way back into my bloodstream.

Movement was starting to come back! I was starting to feel everything again! Even if everything still felt a bit numb, I was excited to have my body back. In my control, too.

Once I felt like everything had seemed back to the way it was in my body, little by little, I started to sit up.

Once I sat up, I began feeling everything. I felt my flowing tail, and it's brush against the earth, I felt the watery grass, and I felt my mane keep my right eye in concealment.

I then looked to my right... And I got a shock of horror...
