I sat down onto the routes of the tree, and looked up at Sterope, ready to listen.

"Okay, so, a fire cycle is a period of time when a phoenix has a growth speeding up. This usually happens when they are two moons old. When this happens, they turn into full flames, and when that is over, they are fully grown phoenix. But, that's basically it. It's simple, really." Sterope said, ending his learning session.

"Ah. Thanks for telling me." I stated. I didn't really know what to say, because I was too awkward. Typical me, right? I was always awkward whether I intend to be, or not.

"Welp, I'm going to go now." I said, beginning to walk away.

"Goodbye!" Sterope said, disappearing into the brush of the tree. I walked off, beginning to take a walk away, and out into the light Everfree. I looked at my scenery surrounding me, and I took note of the changing of weather and seasons. I noticed how the moss was growing along the trees, and I noticed how the sky changed various shades of blue.

I always observed my surroundings... It was a natural thing for me, unlike some other ponies.

I didn't know how far I went because my mind was always in thought when I walked in nature. I was always the daydreamer, and night thinker, but I was still always a dreamer, too.

I realized that I had been thinking for a while, so I stopped myself. I looked at the sky to see the time, but I couldn't actually tell... I didn't see the sun, but I figured it was the afternoon.

I headed back to my cabin, and I opened the door. I peeked inside, and I saw that everyone was awake, and pacing around.

Athena chirped. "SHADOW!"
