When my paws stopped, I was indeed looking at the ground. My paws felt weaker, and tired to this new terrain of the Everfree.... What was with this? I wondered. Why did the terrain change?

I was nervous, and also quite excited to look up. I could hear, 'woahs,' and 'awws' from my chosen family. Hmmm, what could they be seeing? Were they waiting for me?

I was hesitant, but, slowly, I looked upward. When I finally reached to what I was looking for, my eyes were met with a simple sign.

I wasn't disappointed, no, I wasn't just going to judge a book by it's cover, unlike some ponies... Judging was bad, and led to misinformation. I needed to be logical about this, and see every part of it.

I scanned the sign up and down, analyzing each word that appeared to be carved by a pony. The sign said, "To release the guardian creatures of the Everfree, you must find a lever. Once you find this lever, switch it, and all of the creatures will be released, no matter what ponies have put them through. - The brothers." That was smart, I thought. The brothers set up a device so the creatures would all be free, no matter what ponies did to them. They would be finally free, and they would experience true freedom.

I observed the sign some more, and I noticed there was some damage. There were marks from magic blasts from unicorns, and even alicorns, that tried to destroy this thing... But, the sign still stood strong. I saw little dents in the sign, too, probably from ponies trying to make the sign hidden from the ponies of towns.... They didn't want the creatures to be known, or even free, which was horrible.

The brothers even carved their signatures on the bottom left corner, making it so nopony else could take credit...

Then... What stood out the most.... On the bottom right the words, "Help Us..." Popped out.
