Jumping Into Action
I jumped off of the snowy ledge, and I was in the air, practically gliding with my paws.
I hit the ground with the soft touch of snow, and I bared my paws into the ground.
I turned around, and looked at everyone else.
Looka jumped after I did, and joined me on the surface below the ledge. She stood by my side, holding extreme bravery. I could tell that she wasn't going to let fear get in the way of saving Scoff... She knew that saving Scoff was way more important than to dwell on her fear and do nothing the whole time.
The others jumped off one by one... They all hit the snow with a soft "thump" of their paws. After they jumped off, Athena just flew off and kept her flying pace to our heights.
I nodded at Looka, and she invited me to take the lead the rest of the way to where Scoff was. I accepted.
I raced toward the farm-like area that was Looka's old home. I arrived to the main pathways shortly after...
The place was filled with barking, and howls... The place didn't look that healthy, either. I looked at the top hill that bared the house of the ponies that owned this land.
I turned around to everyone, and they had their usual expressions, but all of a sudden that changed... They went wide eyed, and they backed away a few pawsteps.
I figured I knew what was about to happen when I turned to the front of me... Those ponies were there, right? They hadn't moved out, had they? Oh my stars, this definitely wasn't good.
I turned to face them quickly, and not slowly. I wanted this to be quick, and I wanted to get on with saving Scoff.
Those ponies wouldn't stand in my way.
