I felt weak. I probably was. I had been a terrible friend. Ugh. Was I having an emotional breakdown? Not if I could help it.

"Miss Shadow, are you okay?" Ollie asked in his upbeat tone, yet still concerned. His tail wag slowed to a few beats, but then dropped while looking at my face expression.

"...Evening? Heh. I had been gone out all day..  Without a care. How could I do that?" I said, purely talking to myself. I ran my paws throughout my flowing mane.

"Miss? Shadow? Hey, it's okay." He said, trying to get some communication from me. The dog was about my height, but his breed was known to be small. How odd. I liked odd.

I finally snapped out of it. I was still tired, wasn't I? Had these adventures finally taken a toll on me? I wouldn't dare say they had. I wouldn't let myself come to that thought. I loved adventures! I was starting to return to the real me, but I still needed some sleep.

"I'm sorry." I said, cracking within my voice. I turned to face Ollie, who had a hopeful smile. The others were now surrounding me, as well.

"It's okay, miss." Ollie said, wagging his tail again.

"Get some rest, Shadow. We will, too. I think we should start a new day tomorrow." Said Lucy. Echo nodded in agreement, and that was the last thing that I saw before closing my eyes and hitting the ground.

This was not a flashback, nor vision. This was but a dream. I looked around, and the place felt familiar, but didn't all dream landscapes?

I was in a forest, with a running stream. It wasn't the Everfree, I knew that. This forest felt like something other than the Everfree... Hmm...

I looked at the moon. It was a bloodmoon.
