I didn't make a sound, I was just silent. There was just silence. Just me and tears that were flowing down my face.

I did feel an aura, though. It got closer, and I didn't move. I didn't even look at what might be causing it, I just looked down.

Finally, I felt the aura reach me. It was that pony who was creating that aura.

He pulled me into a hug. He wrapped his arms around me, and I was just surprised. He held me tightly.

I wasn't even hugging back- I just stood there... But... Somehow. Somehow he knew. Somehow he knew that I needed this.

I buried my head into him, and I hugged him weakly. I just stood there, and I cried, and for a moment it seemed like maybe... Maybe everything would be alright... For once.

He placed his head onto mine.

I just felt protected in that moment. I couldn't even describe it... It was just really... I didn't even know.

It's the best feeling when you get a hug from somepony that is taller than you, and you're just the smaller one that's just there. You feel safe, and protected.

It just feels like you're hugging a warm blanket in the winter time. It's nice. Especially long hugs.

"P-Please don't let go." I said, very quietly. I didn't want this moment to end.

"I won't."

The vision had ended, and I was back to where I was. My mind recollected everything that had happened, and everything that was happening. My eyes were closed, and I tasted blood again.

Wait just a second...
I blacked out, didn't I? Oh no. What had happened!? Where were the others!?

"Sh-Shadow... No..." I heard a muffled female voice that sounded like she had been crying for a while.
