Happy Endings Always Have A Bad Twist
Looka leaped into the air, and tackled Scoff onto the ground. This was basic body language for hugging in canine terms.
After the tackle, they layed there, just embracing themselves together. Looka cried softly. She cried into Scoff, and Scoff held her tightly.
For a moment, everything was alright.
"Shh, kid. Please don't cry on me. I missed you so much." Scoff said to her. Scoff looked at her with a soft expression. Deep inside all of that hatred that the poison had caused him, he was just a big softie...
"I-I missed you too!" She said, trying to calm herself down. All that came out was muffled sounds because her sobs were stopping any normal communication. "I had no idea that you knew I existed...." She said to him, truthfully. "I always thought that you hated me. I thought if the poison was out, you would have no clue who I was."
Looka looked confused, and sacred... But happy, and safe. She looked like she wanted to claw Scoff for all of the times where he was mean to her, but she couldn't help but to see that was just the poison, and she couldn't help but to feel bad for him. It wasn't his fault.
She had tears clogging her eyes, still. She looked at him for an answer, and he looked at her like he felt bad.
He looked down. His ears folded back, and his expression said that he was guilty. "I-I'm sorry. I knew about you. I saw what was happening... You see, I was watching everything from my mind, but the poison was controlling me. I was out of control. I wanted to do something so bad, but I couldn't. I wanted to be friends with you... But, I just simply couldn't. The night where they abused you..." Tears entered his eyes, too.
