"...There was something that had to be done when Luna did the spell to bring her to life..

Luna wouldn't have enough power to go into the dream realm and protect the ponies from their nightmares...
So...
Each year, she would abandon one night for the spell.

Just for me.

It meant a lot to her...

I don't think she knew that.

Whenever the pony was not in reality, she was in the dreamland...
But...
There were no dreams... No hopes...
Just her.
An essence...

Just nothingness.

Blankness.

Nothing but yourself.

It may seem like a gift to some, but loneliness really isn't something to appreciate.

Even so, the pony still looked forward to coming down to view the northern lights... Even if it may be lonely.

Then, one day, the pony was shocked... Surprised... And, very, very happy.

She watched the northern lights and looked down, not expecting anypony...

She looked down and saw not only a pony, but an entire pack of canines with her! Well, and a phoenix...

She was shocked, but happiness filled her. She realized that she must meet these ponies...

And so, she set off on adventure to meet these creatures...

...And that, that my friends, is my story.
I was that pony." Aurora ended her story.

I wasn't very surprised that this was her story, I mean, I caught on when she mentioned the northern lights.

"Wait, I have a question.." Lucy began.

"Yes?" Aurora spoke, her voice quiet.

"So... You're not a real pony?"

"I'm merely an essence of light that was created by Luna. Nopony knows about me... I'm just nothingness that escaped from the dreamland that Luna roams.. I merely nothing." Aurora said in a deep tone... Though, it was the truth.

"So you're not technically a princess?" I asked.
