Empty Hearts

"Indeed we are, Echo. But, are story is what makes us who we are. ...Although we may have a bad backstory, that doesn't mean it has to be bad in the future. We, the ones whose story is told from perspective, are the ones who change that. We change whether or not we want our story to be bad or good, sad or happy." I spoke through the heart. I felt like that was the truth, but even though I may speak it, it doesn't always mean I follow it... Heck, I hardly follow my comforting speeches to others.

"Wow. You're deep." Scoff said, breaking the awkward silence between the others. The others laughed at the sudden outburst from Scoff.

"Alright guys... I guess it's time we get out of he-" I began, but an idea sparked into my mind at the same time... I gasped, thinking of the idea in my head.

So, there were other huskies here right? The owners were gone, right? They had no where else to go, right? Well... Since they were trapped in their doghouses, how about we released them out into the wild? It seemed fitting. I mean, they should all be free. They should all know what the taste of freedom tastes like.

"What is it?" Looka and Lucy questioned.
"Spit it out kid, we're all sharing here." Scoff said.

I explained to them my idea. They all agreed with me, and this is how we found ourselves out of that ghost towned dog house and out onto the snowy terrain.

We stood there, overlooking the lines of small wooden dog houses. I had realized something...
How were we going to do this? We had no plan.

But sometimes... The ideas without plans are the most successful.

"Do we even have a plan?" Echo asked what I was thinking.

"Nope!" I said, too cheerfully.
