Swiftly, and quietly, the others followed her step by step. They were all off of the train, and I found myself still standing in the train.

I trotted off, following the lead, and blending into ponies, too. Shortly after, I got off of the train and joined the others.

I was met with a brisk coldness that would usually effect other ponies, but it didn't for me. Of course Athena wasn't too happy with our choice of environment. She was freezing, considering she was a phoenix.

I could only see snow on the ground, and nothing else... Yep, we were in Alaska alright..

I was reading my book of maps of Equestria. I was in the northern hemisphere, and I spotted one of the places in the map that caught my interest... That place was Alaska.

I read the description of it: "Cold, brisk, and dangerous! Well, the last part is half true... Alaska is filled with the coldness that you've never experienced. There are many temperatures that occur here that you probably haven't even heard of! Most of them are in the negatives, too. Brrrr!

Alaska is filled with many of the rare creatures that we never get to see in the more popular places like Manehattan, and Cloudsdale. These creatures include: The very rare Windigos, Polar Bears, Arctic Foxes, and many other creatures! Now, these creatures may look cute, but believe me, they have quite the dark side.

Now, you may be wondering... Alaska, wait... What does that mean? Or, Alaska... That sounds familiar.

Well, Alaska is the first and last word that we took from the human infested planet called: "Earth." They have what is called "States" which are basically big pieces of land that the humans get to name.

Now, from what I've heard, Alaska actually means...
