Saved
Tears rushed out of my eyes and dripped down like rain. I didn't even try to stop them... These tears meant something. I was crying for Ollie. For everyone. He is alive...
He was alive...
He will forever be alive.
A tiny high-pitched noise left my mouth and erupted to the outside world. The others must've saw the tail wag as well because they were gasping, and Lucy was apologizing for giving up so easily.
Everyone was shedding tears of joy as that slow tail wag of his meant everything to us... Even if it was something small, it was worth so much..
Ollie was alive. I hadn't gave up hope. Looka and I were both right.
My heart beat raced as the others gathered around Ollie and I...
"Ollie?" I softly said to him. His eyes slowly opened, but once opened, they closed in a flash and then reopened. His eyes weren't adjusted to the light completely.
"H-Hey..." He stuttered in a weak voice. I motioned for Scoff to come over quickly to use his healing powers to insure that Ollie had his strength back.
"Ollie!" I said joyfully and smiled. More tears dropped. They were tears of joy. Ollie was back. We were all here.
He coughed, but smiled slightly. "I-I'm here." He said. His accent was lost, his child-like nature was gone, and his innocence was gone. I could tell... His aura had changed. He had grown up.
My Ollie had grown up...
No...
This couldn't be happening. My pure, cinnamon roll angel that was Ollie had gone away...
My heart dropped. This wasn't the old Ollie, and we would have to accept that.
My smile was twitching from either being sad or being so happy. I sighed and looked at him in the eyes.
"...Welcome home."
