Athena met me by my side, her wind from flying was not cool, yet warm. It seemed as if Athena had grown just a tiny bit..

My legs had grown stronger since arriving back on the surface.. There could have possibly been a spell so you grew weaker in order to submit to them and never leave them. That would make a lot of sense.. My paws picked up speed with every touch to the soft soil ground.

Finally, I was going home.. I thought, but then another thing popped into my mind. I needed to figure out why Athena couldn't talk to me, and why I couldn't understand her... I didn't even recognize my trots anymore as I was consumed into thought.

I could read books about special kinds of runes of animal talk, but I didn't have books anymore.. The only pony I knew whom had books was Twilight, but that meant going into Ponyville, and if I went into Ponyville then I might get caught by Cheerilee and her guards again, or worse... I could be seen by other ponies.

I began to hear the voice of Lucy, but I couldn't get snapped back into the present.. I could make out a few words though..

"Shadow? Is this the pla-" I wasn't able to process all of the words, and was still trotting... I face planted right into a tree... Again.

Finally I snapped back into the present, and looked around with swiftness.. I began to take in the surroundings.. We were home.. "Yay.." I silently said to myself in joy. It felt nice to be home.

"Shadow? Are you okay..?" Lucy asked, padding over to me. I turned to face Lucy. My face was probably the best it has been since this whole adventure, and my eyes were like stars in a jet black night.

"I am okay. And indeed you are right.. This is the place. This is.. Home."
