Wounds Will Heal

My flashback reminded me of the ruthless ponies. But, I couldn't just be emotional off of that. I have to actually move on, and figure out another way to get drawing supplies.

I looked around, in search for something to design, and find that spark of creativity again. "Hmm.. There will probably be something outside that could help." I said going over to the door.

Athena looked at me as if she wanted to go outside with me too.

She tilted her head, and waddled over.

"Athena, want to come with?" I ask, still knowing that she would not be able to understand me. I open the door wide enough, and Athena fluttered outside. "I take that as a yes." I say laughing. I close the door, and head outside as well.

Athena flew around high in the air, this time making sure to keep a close distance to me.

I observed the area of the front of my cabin. I looked at the grass, and trees, but still.. Nothing.

"Hey, Shadow! Maybe try rubbing the grass on the ground instead of using chalk? That could work." My sister says to me. I take a piece of windling grass into my hoof and begin rapidly rubbing it against the ground. It worked, there were smudges of green on the ground.

"Oh yeah! I totally forgot about the dying nature method." I say laughing at how silly it was for me to forget.

"Oh my stars! How could I have forgotten that? Again!!" I say to myself. I go over to the grass and pluck a few pieces from the rich soil which it was planted in.

Since this makes green... Then.. I wonder if the other nature plants of different colors make their colors? I thought.

I made a pile of the grass, and set a rock over top of the freshly picked grass, so they wouldn't be blown into the atmosphere by the wind.

I trotted my way over to other plants with Athena following behind me in the sky. Observing the different colored plants I stumble across something very interesting.
