Wooden Stories
"R-Really? But I can pay the bits!" I said looking down at my exact 11 bits, and the only 11 bits I had.
"No, No. I insist, I never get this much excitement in my job, and I just want to say thanks. Plus, you're really sweet." Shimmer said flicking her tail here and there.
"O-Okay. Only if you insist." I smiled, but then quietly laughing and myself for being awkward.
I gave her my 5 bits, and then I had 6 bits left. "Thanks so much, Shimmer. Until we meet again, perhaps, Luna will let are paths cross again?" I asked still smiling and also trying not to show my fangs.
"Definitely! Goodbye! Take care!" She said in turn. I picked up the side table, placed in onto my back and hurried out carefully balancing the side table with my wings. I looked both ways and ran, still knowing I did not want to be seen. I then got to the trees of the Everfree and sighed.
"If only ponies were not out to get me." I said as I thought I heard something behind me, I turned around but nothing.
The golden wolf pup followed her, making sure she did not get hurt, he hid just in time from not being spotted by the mare.
I sighed. I continued on trotting deep into the Everfree forest.
I felt at peace at this place. The charred brown tree bark, the dark green grass, the leaves the changed colors, the moss that grew every so slightly up the tree bark.
Everything.
My trots began to turn into full running.
Well, that's what the other ponies say anyways. To me it's like fast-walking. I then spotted the stream that always led me into the direction of my cabin. I looked down onto my reflection, but in the water.. I saw something more.
