"...W-What is wrong?" I asked stuttering. He still had the same expression: completely shocked.

"Where did you find that book?" He immediately snapped out of the shocked position, and asked me sternly. I was confused at this, but not at the same time. Could the book be of vital importance? Had it gone missing? Focus, Shadow! He asked you a question, now prepare to answer it.

"Um, well-" I tried to remember, and these words was all I could think of at the moment. But then I had a flashback right before my icy eyes.

I was in my room, just sitting there staring at the walls. For I had remembered every story I had, every book I read, and every piece of dry paint on the wall. But, I would still be interested in every story, even if I had already read them 900 times. ...I just needed to figure out which story I would reread. My mind reached a blank, which rarely happened. ...Why couldn't I figure this out? It was very simple.

There was a click at the door, and my head shot to reach it. Could that be my sister? I wondered. She was usually out doing science-based things everyday, and I hardly saw her. Why would she return right now? It was still the afternoon. ...Maybe she came home for a break? No, her work was too important to do that.

I looked at my sister, and I saw she was carrying a book with her magic. Was that for me? Wait. I was the only one who liked reading so much... It had to be! Finally, a new book to memorize, and a new story to share and imprint into my mind.

My sister sat down the book in front of me. It indeed was for me! I stared down at the book, and it was titled 'Mythical Creatures.' That made me tilt my head. The book must be wrong, because all creatures were not myths.. Surely every pony knew this, right? I was still interested, though.

My sister went to the further left side of the room, and she muttered something. "...Thank you Eternal Space. This will prepare her for the adventures to come.." She muttered to herself, but I didn't really care what she said, because I was already engrossed into the book.
