Torn

The daylight reclaimed it's spot in the sky, slowly rising. The moon was still slowly departing as well. Light still illuminated off of Athena, but this time light was reflecting off of the window too.

I awakened, though my eyes were still tired. The light blinded me at first, but then soon my eyes adjusted.

I shook like a dog, my midnight fur poofing out, looking fluffy.

Athena's eyes popped open, she yawned. Her eyes zoomed everywhere, as if looking at the world for the first time. Then, her eyes met mine.

I could've sworn I had saw a gleam of new excitement come into her eyes.

Athena fluttered over to me, and I sat up.

She then hopped onto my lap, she chirped like she always does, and tilted her head.

I yawned, my fangs showed as they slowly, clenched down on the air I was consuming with my yawn.

Athena caught my yawn, and she yawned, but instead of showing fangs, she breathed a tiny fire.

The fire barely touched the tip of my mane, but I was not afraid. It couldn't burn or anything.

My mission of my furniture was not yet completed. I got up, and Athena fluttered off my lap. I trotted over to my wooden piece, and placed the cobweb next to the wooden piece. "Welp, now time to fetch the stick, to stitch the fabric into place, and then I can start designing!" I say happily. I was just about finished with my project.

I trot out of the door, and the wind pushes the door, and slams it. I jumped. "I-I didn't m-mean for that t-to happen!" I say to myself. I recovered from what happened, and continue my search for the stick.

I find the tree where I got the magic moss off of, and find the stick laying beside the tree. "Oh right." I say, almost laughing. I pick up the stick with mt mouth, and go back inside my cabin, this time manually closing the window carefully, so the wind doesn't pick up and slam it.
