Timeless
That memory was very vivid, just like the rest of my memories. Even dreams and visions were that vivid, too. I looked back to Lucy.
"Lucy? Do you know what you usually eat? I mean I know canines like dogs usually eat dog food, but is there something else that you eat?" I asked, awkwardly.
"Well, me and my old master, Gospel usually went hunting. We would always hunt for the sick and weak prey and get meat from that. He never usually gave me that disgusting ponyfied food that they bestow the name of: 'Dog food.' " Lucy responded, and I nodded. I wondered how I was going to go hunting for food with Lucy, I mean, how would we actually hunt?
I pondered on these thoughts, I didn't even realize it at the time, but I was pacing back and forth, which was my habit.
"....How exactly did you hunt?" I finally questioned. I needed to know, in case I messed up on a proper hunt and the kill didn't go quick. Even thought I ate meat, such as steak, I never knew where my sister got it from. I never went hunting, and I was always against it, unless it was improving the environment or the group of animals that, that animal was in.
I looked at the book that was sitting in front of me. The only book I hadn't read out of my countless of other books... There it sat, and it felt it was only making me pressured to read it. I couldn't, though. I didn't want to, and I never would. I hated what this book promoted. "Ponies and Hunting." Was this black covered books title. Now you may think: Go outside, or simply, do something else!
The weather outside was grim, thunderstorms covered the once dreary, beautiful, rainy, sky. Ponies were even outside, too. The ponies that didn't like me in the least. Yes, indeed, those ponies.
The only other choice I had was to read that book. But I simply wouldn't.
