The Only Home I've Ever Known

"What do you mean? I'm doing meditation. Your trapped in your own mind. The body you left is still there. It's back in Equestria." I said to the creature.

"Equestria? But we are in Eq-" The creature began, but cut herself off. She looked around at the blank place, and her eyes bulged.

"Your mind must be creating illusions.  Come with me, I know the way out." I said, looking back at the way I came from.

Back from where I came from, I could see light, but the light was shrinking by the second. We had to get out fast, otherwise, we would be both trapped here. Forever.

The Chimera nodded, and got up from the sitting position. She was still wary of this new place she discovered, for she had been trapped in her thoughts, and had not seen reality of this place. That must have been horrible. To be trapped in your thoughts.

I lead the way out of the place, quickly, the Chimera followed, and with every step, I think she began remembering. Remembering about her past.

I stepped through the light portal and disappeared, whilst the Chimera was about to step in, but looked back at the old, dusty, and trapped place.

She then turned back around to face the light portal, and she stepped inside. Her looking back at the place was like closing a chapter of her past of her life. It was like, creating a new beginning.

I awoke from my meditation, and I studied where I was again. While looking around, I was met with two sets of eyes watching me. Of course, it was Lucy and Echo.

"Where did you go!?" Lucy pleaded to know. Echo looked at the creature, and then back at me. He nodded, as he understood what happened.

Then something else happened: The creatures eyes opened.
