"Thanks again, Shadow!" Spike called out, carrying his egg inside of the Golden Oak Library of which Twilight held the door open for him. Spike carried the egg inside of the warmth of the library. He beamed with joy because he had the egg.

I hid behind a tree, trying not to let any other ponies catch view of me, not even Twilight. But of course, Twilight looked my way. First she closed the door behind Spike, and then made her way over to me, calmly.

I couldn't do this, I couldn't risk anyone finding about me, anymore. Not even, Twilight. I felt bad for doing this, but I had to leave.

Quickly I turned the other way, and put my head down. I ran as fast as I could, away from there. I left unannounced, and left Twilight unanswered.

I didn't care, though. I didn't care what she thought of me leaving. I couldn't risk it, not even a small bit of me could be risked to see. She could hate me if she wanted, but I didn't care. I had no other choice.

After a short bit of running on my paws, I had returned home. The anxiety and adrenaline I had, made me faster, and so I returned home very quickly.

I walked over to the same small patch of grass I was on before. My powerful senses had toned down, and everything seemed fine... For now. Luckily for me, it was still morning. Lucy nor Athena had awakened from their slumber, which was good. I didn't want to worry them, actually, I couldn't.

I sighed in relief, but quickly remembered something.. Twilight was the only pony that I knew, that had books. I needed those books to try and understand Athena, and now she probably hated me-

....Oh well. I would be just fine.. I could always just find some books on my own. I didn't need any pony, right?
