Tears Into Rain

Astra, and I set off into the now sunset. We were going home.

We arrived back at home, which seemed to take forever. I walked into the main part of where my cabin was, and where Astra and Sterope's tree was. When I got into the middle of the main part, I stumbled and fell.

"Oof.. Oww..." I say trying to get up, but my weak hooves fall back down wanting to be with the ground.

"There you are, Shadow!" Sterope says flying over to me, while Astra takes her roll on sitting on the nest, and guarding it.

I fall back down onto the ground, giving into the want in my hooves. "Yep, I'm here. I'm just going to rest here for awhile. .. On the ground." I say resting my head on the ground also.

Sterope chuckled, "Okay. You do that.. Now don't come back bothering me for another quest." Sterope says returning to his serious, and gruff side. Sterope flew back to Astra, and the nest.

"Ugghhhhh. I don't want to get up..." I say trying to get up once more, but again, my legs bending and collapsing on the ground.

It made sense, I did spend a whole day in the Cave Of Deflection. I must be tired, I got no sleep. Slowly, I layed my head back onto the ground, pushing it into the soft soil.

My eyes wanted to stay open, but sleep took control, and closed them.

I was beginning to have a dream...

The humans surrounded the Everfree forest, news spread around, and one by one, the ponies were dying. Not only to the human's bare hands, but the sicknesses the humans carried. The humans chopped down the Everfree trees, and they were lighting the place on fire. The wildlife had all been killed due to their hunting, and there was me. Not being able to do anything or help, because I was invisible, I wasn't even an entity. The humans were destroying Equestria, and there was nothing I could do about it.

I woke up, startled by the dream. I think it was a warning, that I must be prepared for what is upcoming. The humans shall pay.
