In that moment, I was grateful.. But I could feel gravity kicking in and pushing me back to the ground, and with all my might I tried to stop it to make it a feather-falling landing.

The push of gravity stopped, and I wondered why. I opened my eyes hesitantly, but then opened them fully to see my once fluttering wings were now strong-willed, powerful, beating wings. With my hope and dependence of my might of reaching Athena, I had made my wings stronger. I then realized what I had needed the whole time to actually stay in the air instead of fluttering and hardly staying up in the sky...

I needed hope and compassion. I needed might and protectiveness. I needed love for something I cared about to turn that power of love into wing flight.

I flew down slowly and softly, almost like a flutter, and set Athena down. I then realized something.. This was exactly the way how I was hunting. I froze in the air. I laughed lightly at this memory.

I then looked over to Lucy who just had her mouth hung open. She then forcefully closed her mouth and came over to me.

"That was amazing!" She shouted, and I winced. I wasn't that used to loud noises, and I preferred the quiet. "Sorry." She lowered her tone, noticing my wince.

"Thanks." I replied, with a breath of air. Everything happened so quickly, it was like a blur of action. But that all happens with the best of moments. They all seem to go into a blur, like time itself was fast forwarded. But that is why you had to live in the moment, and with every will, you couldn't let those moments go. Because those would be the best moments in your life, and you had to save those to remember when things were taking a turn and going bad.

"So, want to hear about the Everfree?"  I asked randomly. Athena tilted her head as usual, but she waddled over to me and sat down. Lucy vigorously nodded as she layed down and begun to eat her prey.
