Solar Eclipsed

I was lying on my back, the book in my face. This time I was reading, "Creature Care" I knew this book would help me in the future, so I read it. Another reason why I read it, was because, who didn't like to read? There were tons of creatures in the book, but nothing about the human related animals, like their wolves, instead of our timber wolves. But, still, our timber-wolves were cool. The pictures showed spinal imagines of each creature. It twas like looking through an X-Ray. The picture I was on was a phoenix spinal image.

The wings were in perfect shape, bent back just far enough to where they could spring into flight, in times of escapism. It looked as if ever the wings got damaged, it would cause a lot of trouble, to both the phoenix and flight. Now, luckily, no one has ever found a case of a phoenix breaking their wing, and if they did, the phoenix would be dead. I gasped at reading that last part. Dead? I thought. If I ever seen a phoenix like that, I would help them. At any cost.

"Good thing I don't think it's broken. I'm pretty sure I can fix this though. I just need to snap your wing back into place, and then you need something to hold it into place." I say calmly talking to myself and Athena. Possibly my stick could help. I thought.

I made my way over to the un-named wooden piece, and picked up the sharp stick where I had left it when I was sewing the fabric. Then, I trotted back over to Athena and the side table.

I leveled myself with the height of the table, I straighten the sharp stick, then I tucked the stick under Athena's weak wing, which was her left wing. I propped the wing back into place, and I heard a snap, and a chirp. The wing had snapped back into place, and now it would be time to get a cover for Athena's wing until it heals back to normal.
