Shadow's POV:

Shadow did not bother to learn her new "step parents" names. They didn't bother to learn her name either. 

Shadow already knew that they took her just because she was a powerful Pegasus, a jewel, just a possession. Nobody really cared about her.. Not in that house anyway. She had a lot of other "stepbrothers and sisters." Her "step parents" were a baige color... A dark grey, maybe. Their manes were ruffled and they looked like they just came out of the streets. 

For once, the door was left open.. 

"I am out of here." Shadow bolted out of the door and into the forest. 

"Wait.. That can't be.. It is.. Shadow! No, Shadow! Come back! Do not go into the Everfree Forest!!" Fluttershy tried to warn her, but Shadow did not listen and bolted to the Everfree forest. 

A little golden wolf pup with wings ran after Shadow.
