Rock Bottom
This falling wasn't long though, eventually we both landed face planted on the rock bottom ravine. I stood up, and shook off the dirt, dust, and anything else that was on my fur. My head pounded with pain, and I was wondering how we were going to get out of here. Where was, Athena? I looked over to a still face planted Lucy.
"Lucy..? Are you alright? We both took quite a fall, but thanks for saving me." I said.
"Don't mention it." She said, weakly. She took one paw, and propped herself upwards. She looked up at any possible way of escaping, but to her disadvantage, the vines fell off, following rocks to fall off from platforms. "Well there goes that." She said, sighing. She shook her head, and looked at the ground. First her owner, now this.
"Wait. There was only one possible reason we fell down here. It must've been fate. We shall explore, and I believe we will find a way out!" I said, with my exact answer. I stood strong-willed. I was ready for the unexpected adventure. Lucy's head lifted once more, but she still seemed she was dull, with no hope.
"Okay. Where should we start exploring?" She asked. She stood up, awaiting for me to move and for her to follow.
"This way!" I said, not knowing what to expect, but going that way. I chose the right path, only because right was lucky. The other paths of the fork in the road seemed... Suspicious. My hooves barely touched the ground while trotting.. I was going very fast. I could feel every movement of mine and Lucy's footsteps.
Athena's Prophecy:
I heard the ground crackling from Shadow and Lucy, as soon as I flew down there with all my might, I was too late. The platform broke, and they were falling. I couldn't go down there for them because of the wind currents. I noticed something. The ravine began caving inwards, leaving no escaping from the top either. I would have to find a way in myself.
