I heard footsteps walking out, and no noise in the room that they had thrown Lucy and I into. They shut the door, meaning it was clear for me to start planning our escape. I tried moving my paws, but they didn't budge. The tranquilizer ran out, so why wasn't I able to move? I questioned. I felt pressure on my paws.. Was I sitting?

I was tied up. Rope, that brisk rough material... Indeed. This would be tough escaping. I coughed, due to the little oxygen in the cloth still attached to my nose and mouth. I needed to get that removed very soon, otherwise I would pass out due to the fresh oxygen level.

With all of my little strength left, I pushed outward with all of my might, and I heard a snap. I felt my hooves reach for open air. My rope had broken. Quickly, I made my hooves claw off the cloth on my face, and I took in deep breaths. Now, to get Lucy, and get out of here! I thought.

I looked over to Lucy.. She laid there, motionless, cold, it almost looked like she was... Dead. Shouldn't the tranquilizer have ran out, already? Why was she just laying there? Was she dead? What if I needed back up when escaping? I couldn't leave without, Lucy.. How could I possibly even think about leaving her?

She took in a breath, and coughed. I felt a sigh of relief escape from my mouth. Lucy sat up, and coughed some more... I was afraid if she coughed any louder we could get caught...

She finally stopped, gasping for air, and then turned to face me. She tilted her head. "Why did you come here, Shadow!? I told you to run!" She whisper shouted to me.

There was clattering from behind the door, and in stormed in the guards fully armed.. They had heard us.
