Lucy, Athena, and I rushed to the cavern. We went at supersonic speeds to reach to the cavern. We needed to get there quickly, because we needed to save that creature.

Now I knew that the creature couldn't of died because, magic creatures like that don't really need to eat that much. They can survive for long periods of time without proper care, and two.. It was one of the protectors of the Everfree! And it was in the Everfree, meaning the creature couldn't die if it was in it's protecting location. You see, the creature will not give up hope, or determination to protect the place. They either protect the location, or die trying.

We all arrived at the cavern, but were stuck at the entrance due to the ragged vines, and tree bark that was covering our way to get inside.

"How will we get inside, now?" Lucy asked. I didn't respond at first because I was just observing. I looked over to the bark, and I noticed claw marks on the bark. The creature had tried to escape, the creature was desperate. The bark was too tough, though. The poor creature looked restless from the claw markings. I felt bad for the creature, for they didn't deserve this. Neither did any of the other creatures out there in the Everfree. They were doing the right thing. And this is what they get in return? I had to change things. For the better good.

"We will just have to find a way." I said sternly. I wasn't backing down. Not now, not ever. There was too much that we have already worked for to stop and turn back at this point.

I began without warning, I started clawing the bark with all my might, not stopping.. All of my strength went into each claw mark.

For I had to get in there...

It was my mission.
