Protected Sake
I trotted along, which really was running, and both Lucy and Athena kept up. I didn't really know where I was going, but I just took the route I felt was right. Hopefully I was right, because I really wanted to find those creatures. They didn't need to suffer anymore than they have already.
The grass beneath me felt different with each paw-step, and I couldn't figure out if that was bad or good. At this point, all I really wanted was to know that I could help the protectors of the Everfree.
I took twists and sharp turns, just going on the paths that seemed right to me. Eventually I looked up from my eyes place on the ground, and I looked up in the northern direction.
I saw a small cavern that looked abandon. This cavern had dust all over the top of the cold stone shelter, and the minerals inside had ventured outside of the cavern. The vines, and tree bark had grown to reach the entrance of the cavern. The cavern looked like it had no entrance, or exit. Even if the creature lived there, the creature couldn't even get out if they wanted to.
I stopped in my tracks, and Lucy fell into me, but picked herself back up and stared at where I was staring. Athena had stopped in her speeds of flight, too. She was now just flying in one place.
"....Woah." Lucy finally said, breaking the silence. Lucy looked at the cavern in awe, and I just spoke no words. I knew for certain that some creature was hidden in there, frighten, scared, forgotten. The creature couldn't even get out, for Luna sake!
"We need to find somewhere to get into there." I said in my serious tone. I spoke little words, but I needed to speak those words.
"Okay. Let's do this." Lucy replied, with a determined look.
