I could feel my mouth slipping from being shut, to being fully opened, in a surprised gasp. This explained a lot.. I guess I was just in denial of him being non-pony. His large wings, his question mark of a cutie mark, his eyes, and possibly his scar..? I felt really bad.. I was cold, and grim to him. If I knew this sooner, for instance, before he showed up, I would have acted differently.

"Yep!" He replied. I could even feel his grin.

"I'm so sorry!" I say, trying to shout.. But it became a squeak. "I-I didn't know, I thought you were a pony.. I-I sorry, sorry, sorry.." I said, lowering my tone to quiet to see if that would work, and it did. I hid my face in my hooves, not wanting to be seen. Wanting this day to become tomorrow, and for today to be just another memory. But, that couldn't happen. I needed to complete this memory in order to remember it. I just didn't want to be seen, though. I wanted to be invisible.

"Hey.. It's okay. I-I mean, ponies are usually scared of me when they see me.. You are the first one whom has accepted me.." Gospel said softly, uncovering my hooves from my eyes. He smiled hopefully. He was giving me another chance.

I looked up at him, and he had a sort of warmth.. It was brighter and warmer than Athena's, and could burn through the toughest of situations. He sat next to me, and I smiled slightly. "I'm part dragon, if you were wondering." He said, still in a soft tone, as if I would be spooked at any given moment.

As soon as Gospel said that, Athena poked from behind me, and poked through the sides of both Gospel and me. Gospel jumped at first, but then got comfortable realizing it was a phoenix. Lucy attempted to come over to us, but was denied by Gospel. "Stay, Lucy." He said firmly. Lucy was disappointed, and layed down, waiting for her master to give her a command.

"Aww.. I wanted to check out the birdy.." Lucy said sighing.

"Oh." I said. That explained a lot more.
