The snow filled me with new hope and magic. I looked over to Athena behind me, and she had her mouth open, and yawned.. Was she planning on sleeping in the snow? I thought. Just as I thought that, she layed down in the snow, and started snoring.

Dear, Luna... That phoenix is super lazy!

"Welp, 'guess that I will play in the snow ALL by myself.." I say, dragging my words along, loud enough for Athena to hear.

Her head poked up from her sleeping position, and tilted. I think she knew exactly what 'play' meant.

I raced out into the snow, galloping, the snow touched the brim of my hooves, or as I call them paws. The cold comforted my paws and welcomed them to the soft feeling of light snow.

Athena shot up from her sleeping area, and flew out into the snow. When she landed from gliding in the air, she sunk through the snow. Though she was big enough to fly, she was still a hatchling that could sink.

I laughed quietly at this motion, and looked toward the sinking phoenix. She popped her head back through the snow, and didn't look amused. She took some snow with her wing, and threw it at me for laughing.

The snow touched my face briefly, but it was a nice wake-up call. I was still laughing, not caring that snow now filled my face and my purple, poofy, flowing, white dotted mane. "Is this a snow fight challenge? Challenge accepted!" I said, grinning, now showing my fangs since nopony else was around.

Sister and I just had finished the snowpony. I was thinking about that hug more, I really wanted to meet that mare from my dreams. I wanted to make that hug happen. Just like my dream. Sister and I had now started a snowball fight. Every time my sister had thrown a snowball at my face, I instantly dodged it. I would throw snowballs at her aiming correctly, and not missing. I hit her face every time, but it was gentle. The reason why I know how to throw correctly is because there was a book I read on throwing snowballs. Yes, indeed, they do have a book like that.

Athena made the first move, sending a snow ball penetrating to my face...
