Luck And Risk
Now I looked over to my left, and a flying sword was coming straight to my face. Quickly, I got off the ground, and ran swiftly dodging the swords, and looked at the entrance. I was almost there. I saw that the door was closing in the entrance, but I ran as fast as I could, and slid at the bottom, just making it out of the Deflecting Cave.
I felt actual soil, and sunlight. That place I just got out of was musty, and felt like it had a bad vibe to it. But I mustn't judge a book by it's cover, although I was lucky to get out of there.
I panted, recollecting my thoughts on my new adventure I just went on. I felt a nice breeze flow through my poofy mane. I sighed, and smiled to myself. I hardly got to experience these things when I was a filly, so I am very lucky to be experiencing them now.
I wondered how long I was in the Cave Of Deflection, because the sun was at it's highest point, meaning it was the afternoon. I decided to lay down onto the nice soft grass. I layed down on my back of course. I was tired from my adventure, but I got what I needed. I got the cobweb. I looked into my right hoof, to make sure I was still clenching onto it.
I was, and I was glad I did not lose it during the adventure of getting back to the entrance.
I meant what I said back to those spiders. I would avenge them, those humans needed to be gone. They had troubles Equestria so much. I was mad at the humans, and I realized. I always was mad at the humans. But, then again, those ponies were taking right after the humans.
I hoped that somewhere, and somehow, some ponies had their senses...
I stared blankly at the clouds, just thinking of how much hatred I had for the humans.
The wind blew against me again, it felt really cool, but it felt good. Even though there was wind, my mane never parted away from my right eye. Not even in a tornado, the mane wouldn't part from the eye.
"Shadow! Shadow!!" I heard a female voice moving toward me. I recognized that voice. That was Astra.
I turned around in the direction of Astra.
"Shadow! Darling! Are you okay!? Sterope told me that you were going to the Cave Of Deflection, and I came looking for you, since yesterday when you first left. I was so worried." Astra says now finding relief for finding me. Hmm. I was gone for a day, missing even. The Cave Of Deflection had no time. Just an endless, sorrowful, backstory.
I came back into reality, and answered Astra's question. "Y-Yea, I'm fine.. Don't worry. I'm back." I say to Astra, now getting up. "Let's go home.. Shadow.." Astra says kindly, leading the way.
"Okay, Astra. Home.. Here we come." I say quietly, following Astra.
