"Wha? Oh, hm? Oh, yes, I'm fine. Just got lost into thought, is all. We should be continuing with our journey, though. We really have no time to lose." I said, and started leading the way in the northern direction.

I really did wonder if they knew how much they really meant to me, and how much they will always mean to me... They deserve to know.

I wasn't going in a specific direction, it always just seemed like the northern direction was a good direction to go towards.

Athena appeared right by my side, flying, like normal. Her wings flapped accordingly when they lost the power of gliding in the wind, and with each flap of the wing, the wing would regain it's gliding abilities.

I just ran on my paws, because if I flew, it wouldn't be fair to the others. Plus, if I ran, I could catch more scents from on the ground, rather the sky. I could stay in touch with nature, though, I did like the dreamy atmosphere of the skies.

Lucy and Echo ran beside me, and beside each other. They had no idea where I was leading them, but they had such trust that I would take them somewhere safe, and not lead them into their deaths. Like any true leader should.

There were so many scents looming in the air, there were ones days, months, even years old. But there were fresh, daily scents... There were nature scents, there were ancient scents... But, I mainly focused on the creature scents.

Squirrel- Nope, Rabbit- Nope, Fox- Nope.... Unfamiliar scent- Yes!
That unfamiliar scent seemed interesting, and ancient, which would be my only lead for now. I had to trust this scent, and follow it.

The route I was taking still headed north, but I had to take a sharp turn to the right direction to continue with the scent...

Where will this scent lead me? I questioned.
